Mahindra KUV100 NXT - Variants explained in detail

Mahindra’s KUV100 was quite popular for its six-seat layout option when it was first introduced in India. This time around, the popular Indian utility vehicle manufacturer Mahindra has launched the new KUV100 NXT in five variants – K2, K2+, K4+, K6+ and the K8. The new model is available in six colour options – pearl white, dazzling silver, flamboyant red, fiery orange, designer grey and midnight black. The top-spec version is available in dual tone colour options like – silver/black and red/black. All variants get six-seat configuration as standard, while the five-seat arrangement is offered as an optional.

Changes are limited to cosmetic upgrades, while mechanically it continues to be offered in existing diesel and petrol engine options. Under the hood, the newly launched KUV100 NXT gets a 1.2-litre all-aluminium mFALCON G80 3-cylinder petrol motor that generates 82bhp of power at 5500rpm and 114Nm of torque between 3500-3600rpm. The diesel version on the other hand gets a 1.2-litre mFALCON D75 engine that generates 77bhp of power at 3750rpm and 190Nm of torque between 1750-2250rpm. Both the engines come mated to a five-speed manual transmission.
