• The high seating enhances visibility, the front seats are large and supportive, and the driver's seat is six-way electrically adjustable.

• It gets a new 12.3-inch touchscreen with a 12-speaker Sony music player and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

• A new 10.25-inch display replaces the seven-inch unit to handle driver's display duties.

• The first two rows feel spacious and comfortable, and folding the second and third rows creates about 786 litres of boot space.

• It is offered with dual-zone climate control, wireless charging, and Alexa-controlled features.

• It is equipped with a remote-start engine, temperature control, and AdrenoX Connect app functionality like geo-fencing.
• The captain-seat version (six-seater) has an armrest and recline function, which is perfect for those who need to be chauffeured.
• To get to the third row, one can walk between the second-row seats (six-seater) or use the one-touch tumble to fold one seat.

Negatives:

• The buttons and knobs lack feel as they do not offer much feedback to the user when operated.

• The second-row seats do not slide back and forth to make more room for the third-row passengers.
• The third-row front-facing seats have little knee room, the backrest is upright, and hence, best for kids only.

• The Scorpio N misses important features such as ventilated seats, auto-dimming IRVM, and a 360-degree camera.

Positives:

• The Mahindra Scorpio N scored an impressive five-star crash safety rating in the Global NCAP tests.

• It gets front and rear cameras, six airbags, and a driver drowsiness detector that alerts the driver when drowsy.

• It safety suite also includes electronic stability control, hill hold control, descent control, and disc brakes on all four wheels.

• It is offered with a tyre pressure monitoring system to monitor the tyre pressure at all times.

Negatives:

• The Scorpio N misses out on the safety net that a complete suite of ADAS features gives.

Positives:

• The Scorpio N’s 18-inch diamond-cut alloys, elevated bonnet, and tall shoulder line give it a strong stance.

• It comes with double barrel LED headlamps, sleek DRLs, and sequential LED turn indicators that give it a modern look.

• The characteristic upright dashboard is wrapped in leather and you will find lots of soft-touch points all around.

• The quality of plastic inside the cabin has a more high-end look instead of the usual sturdy/utilitarian type.

• The dark brown- and black-coloured cabin, along with the Piano Black trim and brushed metal inserts make it look premium.

Negatives:

• Unlike the floating screen on the XUV700, the Scorpio N gets dated circular dials with a digital multi-information display in between.
