Hector Plus Preview
MG will soon introduce a new version of the Hector, known as the Hector Plus. Essentially a six-seater version of the Hector, the model rivals against the likes of the Tata Hexa, Mahindra XUV500 and the Tata Gravitas.
Previous spy images have revealed the exterior design of the new MG Hector Plus. The model will feature a tweaked exterior design to differentiate itself from its five-seater sibling. These include a redesigned front bumper, new fog lamp housings with chrome inserts, new LED headlamps, new grille, reworked LED tail lights and a refreshed rear bumper.
Inside, the new MG Hector Plus will come equipped with a six seat layout, unlike the five seat layout of the model it is based on. The second row bench seat will make way for captain seats in the second row as well as the third row.
We expect the upcoming MG Hector Plus to be powered by the same set of 1.5-litre turbo-petrol and 2.0-litre diesel engines, albeit in the BS6 format. The former is also offered with a 48V mild hybrid system.
