    • The iCNG Tata Punch is powered by a 1.2-litre engine that can run on both CNG and petrol. It pumps out 72bhp of power and 103Nm of torque, while the power figures in the petrol mode stay the same as the non-CNG version.

    • As you start the Punch CNG AMT, its engine stays rather muted and doesn't become noticeable until you push it to 5000rpm. Its power delivery is linear.
    • As for the transmission, it gets a five-speed manual and a five-speed AMT transmission, with the latter being a first in the segment.

    • In our tests, the CNG-automatic's power delivery felt linear, but the shifts take time, and overtakes require a bit of planning.

    • The segment-first paddle shifters add to the experience and convenience of the CNG-automatic Tata Punch. It adds more control and freedom to shift rather than relying on the AMT logic. The shifts are quite apparent, but get more mannered as you go up. It takes a bit to build up speed, so overtakes can feel a bit slow.

    • We also found the suspension setup to be quite pliant and smooth, taking on potholes, uneven roads, and speed breakers with ease.

    • As for the NVH, the engine stays pretty silent until 5000rpm. But the cabin could've undergone better insulation, as ambient noise does seem to seep inside the cabin.

      The car is value for my is reliable and never any issue with the car and also the service centre experience in my area is very good and the only issue is that tata should work attention to detail and engine is good for normal use but not very punchy but tata has solved the issue with new car so no problem in it
