- The Hyundai Exter gets a 1.2-litre four-cylinder engine that makes 82bhp and 113.8Nm of torque.
- This powertrain can be had with either a five-speed manual or five-speed AMT gearbox with paddle shifters for more control.

- The Hyundai Exter facelift also features a CNG bi-fuel powertrain. It's the same 1.2-litre four-cylinder engine that can run on both CNG and petrol.

- The Exter facelift may get a bigger infotainment, enhanced connectivity, and a better sound system.
- Feature upgrades may include a larger dual-pane sunroof, driver armrest, and split-folding rear seats.

Low mileage,suspension is the worstAfter sitting with 5 passengers, it feels like travelling in an Auto. Soft suspension is not working with full load, and the engine is also feeling very underpowered with full load. Mileage is too worst when turning on the AC. In heavy traffics it was showing 7kmpl. Practical and most value for money.It is very practical vehicle for daily use with decent features and very good average on CNG around 28 km/kg. Interior is very practical and comfortable, ample for leg room and headroom for rear seat passengers.
