Hyundai’s premium SUV, the Tucson is slated to receive a facelift in the second half of 2019. The premium SUV was launched in 2016 and this time around it will be introduced in the country with fresh set of cosmetic and feature upgrades. The facelift version was last seen at the New York International Auto Show in March 2018.

In terms of design, the facelift version will get a new signature cascading grille, LED headlamps with a sleeker design and a chiseled front bumper. While the profile continues to remain the same, it will get a new set of alloy wheels and a tweaked rear bumper.

As for the interior, the dashboard features a tablet-like upright touchscreen instead of the flush unit in the existing car. While the black and beige treatment is expected to continue, the door trims along with the centre console are all-new. The new Tucson will continue to get the long feature list like the current car including cruise control, climate control with rear AC and sunroof and rear-view camera amongst others.

As for the powertrains, the current set of engines and gearboxes will continue which means you will get the 2.0-litre four-cylinder engines. While the petrol develops 153bhp of power, the turbo-diesel pumps out 182bhp and both the engines come mated to six-speed manual as well as automatic gearbox options along with the optional all-wheel drive.
