Skoda Slavia Engine and Performance
- Petrol 1.0L
- Petrol 1.5L
Positives:
The 1.0 turbo-petrol engine makes 114bhp and 178Nm torque. It offers six-speed manual and six-speed automatic options. This provides flexibility.
Engine response is alert. It offers ample low- and mid-range power. City driving is effortless and fuel-efficient.
The six-speed manual gearbox has short throws. It is not tiring, even on long journeys.
It has light yet precise steering. It offers good stability at all speeds. A responsive feel boosts driver confidence.
The suspension setup balances comfort and handling. It does not lean much, even around tight corners.
Negatives:
This is not the smoothest engine. At higher rpms, engine noise is noticeable. This affects cabin quietness on longer drives.
It lacks excitement for sporty driving. It feels less powerful than the 1.5-litre engine option.
The long travel clutch pedal (manual variant) causes some inconvenience. This happens over extensive use.
It has a rather hard ride quality on very rough roads. Some road imperfections seep into the cabin.

About the ReviewerPurchase Not PurchasedDriven ForDid a short drive10 - Pros and consIt's a fantastic car and I have bought it in silver it's Totally a silver beauty speakers are also beast, with a luxurious interior it's ride comfort is insane but it's mileage is very low, I get only 6 kmpl max some times it comes 1.5 also but I think that it may increase after 1st service, I usually take more interest in cars, and I was highly obsessed with this under a price option of 17 lakhs, it has many benefits like it's ground clearance which also a good option for bad road in conclusion I just want to say that if you are a car enthusiast you should prefer this German engineering in this budget.Rating Parameters(Out of 5)5

About the ReviewerPurchase NewDriven ForOver 500 km51 - Balanced performance with premium feel
I purchased the Skoda Slavia as a new car, and the overall experience has been positive. The car looks premium and stands out on the road. Driving is smooth, the steering feels confident, and the engine performance is strong both in city and highway conditions. The cabin is comfortable with good space and features. Mileage is decent if driven calmly. Service experience has been satisfactory so far, though maintenance costs can be slightly higher than some rivals. Pros: solid build, great driving dynamics, comfortable ride. Cons: slightly stiff suspension on rough roads. Overall, a value-for-money sedan for enthusiasts.Rating Parameters(Out of 5)5Exterior

About the ReviewerPurchase NewDriven ForDid a short drive40 - Light on packet but performance is greatThe model I drove is the base model It actually didn't feel like a base model in terms of finishing The engine, which I thought would be underpowered as it is a 1.0 unit running a car that weighs over a ton, wouldn't do great but as soon as I got to drive the car, it completely changed my thoughts The car is very good and balanced in terms of all The only drawback is service and maintenance in the long run Manual wouldn't cause much of a problem but automatics not sureRating Parameters(Out of 5)4

About the ReviewerPurchase New42 - Beautiful as well powerfulBuying experience has been hassle free. Just got the car delivered in a week’s time. Driving experience: Initially I visited the showroom to book a MT car but after doing a test drive of AT, I really loved the smooth drive and booked the Style 1.0 AT. I have happy that I booked the AT. It’s peaceful to drive the AT in the city traffic and also in the long drive. The brakes are sharp. Looks and Performance. It’s beautiful. It will make the heads turn when it hits the road. Servicing and maintenance: Haven’t done the first service yet. It’s only after 15000/- kms. Few more kms pending for my first service. Hopefully it should be hassle free. No Cons for me. If you drive smoothly, you will get decent mileage even in city traffic.Rating Parameters(Out of 5)5
