- Maruti Suzuki Ciaz Sigma: Comfort, Space & Value That Make Every Journey Better

I have been using the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz Sigma variant, and my overall experience with the car has been very positive. One of the biggest strengths of the Ciaz is its comfort. The driving experience is smooth and relaxed, even on long journeys, and you do not feel fatigued after spending several hours behind the wheel. The cabin is extremely spacious, offering excellent legroom and comfort for both front and rear passengers. The air conditioning is also highly effective, providing quick and efficient cooling even during hot weather conditions. Another major highlight is the boot space. My family and I frequently travel by car and often carry a significant amount of luggage. The Ciaz has never disappointed us in this regard, as the large boot comfortably accommodates all our travel essentials without any space constraints. The only drawback I have experienced in the Sigma variant is the absence of cruise control. Since cruise control is available in the Delta variant and above, having this feature in the base variant would have made highway driving even more comfortable and less tiring during long-distance trips. One additional observation is related to the rear spoiler. After installing the company-provided spoiler, the boot lid requires a slightly firmer push to close properly. Also, unlike before, the boot no longer opens fully on its own and now lifts only partially when unlocked. Overall, the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz Sigma offers excellent comfort, spacious interiors, impressive boot capacity, and a pleasant driving experience. It remains a practical and value-for-money sedan, particularly for families and frequent travellers.Rating Parameters(Out of 5)5Exterior

About the ReviewerPurchase NewDriven ForOver 500 km10 - Perfect conditionOwned and meticulously maintained my Maruti Suzuki Ciaz Alpha Petrol for years—now at 57,000 km, it’s still in immaculate condition with interiors looking brand new. Single owner, chauffeur-driven only, full service history from authorised centres. Love the plush cabin, spacious boot for luggage, and smooth 1.5L mild-hybrid engine delivering 18-20 kmpl real-world mileage. Ride quality shines on highways with cruise control, and it’s super manoeuvrable in city traffic. Features like touchscreen infotainment, rear camera, and auto AC add daily comfort. Minor nitpick: no sunroof or turbo punch, but unbeatable value/reliability for families. Highly recommend—5/5 for upkeep and performance!Rating Parameters(Out of 5)5

About the ReviewerPurchase NewDriven ForI haven't driven it00 - My mate since AgesI bought this car in 2016 and since then I have driven it in varied terrains like hills, highways, no roads, desert roads etc. The car was with me in ups and downs till 35000 km, but something changed after that : Pros : - Supremely comfortable. - Less fatigue on long journeys and highways. - No wobble like SUVs - Good road presence. - Good music system and speakers. - Good pickup after 100 km/hr - Good average of 18- 20km/l till now Cons : - pathetic build quality, both interior and exterior. - interior door cloth will peel off its own in 5 yrs but the same doesn't happen till ages in Honda / Hyundai - bad exterior build quality and even a dab on doors with a finger can make a dent, the doors are made of butter paper. - High repair costs and charges, all parts are replaced and seldom repaired. - Good engine but fragile engine parts, my both camshafts broke in 4 parts while gliding on the road at 20km/hr for which Maruti had no answer but,"It happens, sir" - My Trunk(Dikki's) torsion spring broke while I was half inside it and it fell on me. - The car is highly unreliable after 30000 kms and shows catastrophic failures of many parts,it feels like all organs are failing. - My fuel sensor gave away 20000 km. For which Maruti had no repair and answer. - Tiny spec of stone on the highway hit my windscreen and it made a big patch of glass. - well cover paint peels off in 4-5 yrs. - The music system won't auto-connect to the Bluetooth phone when the car is on... You have to switch it off while the phone's Bluetooth is on.Rating Parameters(Out of 5)5
