With the spree of price hikes post the Union Budget 2016-17, we weren’t expecting too many discounts this month. At best, may be few manufacturers offering the cars at existing prices. But a talk with the dealers and a look through the newspapers has revealed that there are still plenty of deals available this month.
Chevrolet is offering deals and discounts worth up to Rs 70,000 on the Beat hatchback. This is probably part of the stock clearance sale, as the company might introduce an updated version of the Beat in April. Even the sedan and the MUV in the Chevy range are available with discounts worth Rs 60,000 – the details of the same are mentioned on the official website.
The Ford Figo hasn’t been doing too well and within few months of the launch, the Maruti Swift and the Hyundai Grand i10 competitor is available for discounts of around Rs 25,000 to Rs 40,000. Though Ford is not advertising it, negotiating with the dealer will definitely yield positive results. Plus, for March, most dealers are offering free insurance with the Figo Aspire and the EcoSport.
The dealers in Delhi are offering huge discounts on the Mobilio. The cars from 2015 are available for discounts of close to Rs 1.5 lakh. Also the Brio and the CR-V are up for a bargain – free insurance is being offered across India.

The WagonR is also available with benefits of around Rs 30,000 across the country.
