Aston Martin Vantage Coupé was introduced in India in 2018. It came into the country via the Completely Built Unit (CBU) route. The sports car maker later revealed the Roadster version of the Vantage Coupé globally in 2020.
The Vantage Coupé uses an aluminium platform with high strength steel panels. It is 4,465mm in length and has a 2,704mm wheelbase. The front features LED headlamps with a large Aston Martin signature mesh grille. Besides, it gets an LED strip taillamp that covers the entire width of the sports car.
Inside, the Vantage Coupé features Alcantara upholstery for the bucket seats with electric assist and memory function. A driver display has a colour TFT display that is divided into three sections. Similarly, there is an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment unit that supports satellite navigation. Additionally, the sports car gets Aston Martin audio system.
Aston Martin uses a front-mid mounted 4.0-litre V8 twin-turbocharged petrol engine mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission that develops 503bhp at 6,000rpm and 685Nm of torque from 2,000 to 5,000rpm. It achieves a 0 to 100kmph time in 3.6 seconds and has an electronically limited top speed of 314kmph. Besides, all the power is delivered to the rear wheels.
It was the first Aston Martin to be fitted with an electronic rear differential. The Vantage Coupé also comes with an Adaptive Damping System (ADS), Dynamic Torque Assist (DTA), Hydraulic Brake Assist (HBA), Emergency Brake Assist (EBA), Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) etc.
