The Volvo XC40 took home the prestigeous Women's World Car of the Year 2018 award. What made it a bigger deal was the line-up of well established competition that included the Porsche Cayenne, Jaguar E-Pace and I-Pace, BMW X2 and the Peugeot 508.
The process to pick the winner took a whole month and included a new voting system. When the final results were out, the XC40 took victory by a hairs breath just beating the Jaguar E-Pace. The XC40 has been winning rave reviews all over and has also bagged the 2018 European Car of the Year at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show.
