As part of its efforts to increase the presence of Datsun brand, Nissan’s budget moniker has begun the second phase of is ‘Datsun Experience Zone’. The efforts will see the Japanese automaker travel to 650 locations across the country and offer test drives of its three range model. The automaker will run eight vans sporting their #voteforchange livery to give potential customers an insight into the world of Datsun.
The tour begun from yesterday and will continue till the 9th of September and aims to visit 40 satellite cities, 82 districts and 250 smaller locations within a 50-100 km radius of Nissan/Datsun showrooms.
Commenting on the start of the tour, Jerome Saigot, vice president, Datsun India said, "The Datsun Experience Zone enables us to engage with customers at a nearby place which is convenient for them. We are taking our showrooms on the road. The Experience Zone is a platform for us to connect with prospective customers and talk about the best-in-class features of the Datsun Redigo while everyone has a fun time. Phase I of the Datsun Experience Zone was a great success, and we decided to extend this activity to Phase II to tap the significant market potential,” he added.
