BYD India has launched the updated version of the Atto 3 priced at Rs. 24.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The Atto 3 now comes with more features and new exterior colour options. Customers can book the model by paying a token amount of Rs. 50,000 with deliveries expected to begin in the coming weeks.
With the new update, the BYD Atto 3 gets three variants, namely, Dynamic, Premium, and Superior. While the entry-level Dynamic variant gets a 49.92kWh battery pack, the latter two get a larger 60.48kWh unit. As for the driving range, the smaller battery pack is claimed to deliver 468km on a single charge. On the other hand, the bigger battery pack is good for 521km on a single charge (ARAI-certified). In terms of charging speed, the Atto 3’s battery pack can juice up from zero to 80 per cent in just 50 minutes using a fast charger.
Apart from the new variants, the BYD Atto 3 now also benefits from a new colour option called ‘Cosmos Black’. With this, the Atto 3 is now offered in four colours, the other being, Ski White, Boulder Grey, and Surf Blue. Feature-wise, the Atto 3 continues to come loaded with a large rotatable 12.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, digital instrument panel, wireless charger, 360-degree surround camera, electric tailgate, Level 2 ADAS suite, ventilated and powered front seats, and a panoramic sunroof.
Commenting on the launch, Rajeev Chauhan, Head of Electric Passenger Vehicles (EPV) Business, BYD India said, “Unveiling this extended lineup of three variants of the BYD Atto 3 - Dynamic, Premium and Superior - is a significant milestone for us and a pivotal moment in India’s electric vehicle landscape. Our diversified offerings not only expand our product portfolio but also pave the way for a more inclusive EV future. We aim to make premium electric mobility accessible to a broader audience. With the launch of these new variants, we are one step closer to realizing this vision.'
