In India Swift has been a popular seller in its segment. The parent company Suzuki has showcased the Special Edition 1.2 model at the ongoing 2016 Geneva Motor Show. On first look, the vehicle does not seem to get any major upgrades apart from new features and body color options. As of now, it is believed that the Suzuki Special Edition Swift 1.2 model would be first introduced in Switzerland market priced at CHF 16,990 (Approx INR 11.52 lakh).

The Suzuki Swift Special Edition that was unveiled at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show continues to be powered by 1.2-litre petrol engine that generates about 89bhp of power. As for changes, the one showcased at the event came with an orange body color. Additionally, it comes loaded with LED DRLs, 16-inch black alloy wheels and fog lamps. As for safety, it comes loaded with ESP with traction control, ABS with brake assist, engine immobilizer and seven airbags that include - side airbags, driver-side knee airbag, curtain airbag and passenger airbags.

For entertainment needs, the vehicle features music system with USB connectivity and navigation system. The air-conditioner offered in the Swift Special Edition comes with a special pollen filter.
