Hyundai rolls out 5 millionth car in India

After 19 years of operations in India, Hyundai marked the 5 Millionth Car Milestone with the rollout of the new Hyundai Verna. What is also impressive is that this is also the fastest 5 millionth car production milestone achieved by any manufacturer in Indian passenger vehicle industry. Hyundai rolled out its 1st Millionth Car, the Santro, in 2007 in just 8 years and 7 months and hit the 3 Million Mark in less than 2 years and 8 months in July 2013 followed by next fastest 4 Million Mark in only 2 years and 4 months in Nov 2015. Models that significantly contributed to Hyundai’s successful journey in the past two decades include Hyundai Santro, Hyundai Creta, i10 Grand and the Hyundai Elite i20.
