Innovative solutions like the ‘Air Woofer Technology’, which places a speaker behind the dashboard, frees up space on the front door pads. There is more space for you to store things you may need at your next destination and access them easily.

The cleverly designed boot floor cover folds up to expose three hidden bag hooks. The bootlid opens with a wave of your leg, and the hooks mean you don’t need to worry about those important things spilling out of those shopping bags you are holding.

The Volvo XC40 makes driving and parking in the city a cinch. The high-seating position, compact exterior dimensions and effortless controls makes driving in the city an enjoyable experience.

With the ‘City Safe’ suite of assist systems, other vehicles, pedestrians, cyclists and large animals ahead are automatically identified, even at night - the SUV can detect potential accidents and even apply countermeasures (automatic braking or steering inputs) if the driver does not respond. You don’t have to be a driving god to survive everything the city can throw at you on the road.
