All new and existing Volvo car owners (yes, even if you own a 1927 ÖV4) can now get parts replaced with genuine ones for free at any authorised Volvo service centre, even if the warranty or extended warranty on their cars has expired! Although this only covers manufacturing defects or the extremely rare installation issue, there’s no denying the fact that this is a unique and encouraging offering for Volvo car owners in India.
There are three main caveats:
1) The car must undergo regular maintenance at Volvo authorized service workshop.
2) The replacement part must be bought and installed at Volvo service centres or Volvo authorised dealers.
3) Proof of car ownership is a must. Whether you are the first owner or the next owner, if you buy any part and get it replaced at a Volvo authorized dealer, the part is covered under the program under your ownership.
The Customer Lifetime Parts Warranty also includes the labour cost for changing any part covered by the program.
