- Connect app compatible with both Android and iOS platforms
- New features at no extra cost
This is the colour that the Passat already was available in and the carmaker equipped it with VW 'Connect'. An owner can connect his smartphone through this interactive ‘Connect’ app to the car via the plug-and-play dongle. It is fitted to the on-board diagnostics (OBD) port of the vehicle. The primary function of this device is to make emergency calls, track trips, monitor fuel costs and driving behaviour. Additionally, users can share their car's location and even book service appointments through the smartphone app.
What's more, 16-inch Portago grey alloy wheels are standard and add appeal to the car's exterior. Occupant safety quotient is upped with the help of dual front-side airbags as standard on the Vento. Like the Vento, the Ameo also gets leatherette black seat covers. On the other hand, the Polo GT series boast of chequered pattern on the seats. Buyers also get a new surround trim for the touchscreen infotainment system, glove box lamp and an additional USB charging port in the second row.
The wait of prospective buyers has finally ended with the cars now available for deliveries during this festive season. The new colour adds a fresh appeal to the cars and the new features will definitely add to the practicality and convenience of owners at no extra cost.
