With the arrival of the Mercedes-Benz E-Class All-Terrain in the Indian market, it spawns a new breed of E-Class with an added advantage of a station wagon body-style. Plus, this vehicle emphasizes the spirit of adventure by blending the manners of the regular E-Class Estate with off-road capabilities.

The All-Terrain wagon iteration of the E-Class gets a rugged look thanks to the lower bumper muscular styling and the cladding that runs along the lower body and over the wheel wells. 

Unlike the E-Class sedan, the station wagon design and extension of the body allows for exceptional boot space, and the air suspension claims to make way for some outstanding passenger comfort.

With the Mercedes-Benz E-Class All-Terrain and its off-road capabilities, it allows users to be ready for any sort of journey. It features 4MATIC all-wheel drive, air suspension, and a dedicated All-Terrain driving mode

The higher ground clearance on this station wagon along with the tech-laid electronics allow for a quick detour off-road, regardless of whether it is a dusty track, sand or across snow. 

Mercedes-Benz offers the E-Class All-Terrain with a richly appointed cabin that’s draped with leather and includes their latest COMAND system with a 12.3-inch infotainment screen.

The All-Terrain will be offered in the E220d 4MATIC avatar whose 2.0-litre motor makes 192bhp along with a healthy dose of 400Nm of torque. A nine-speed automatic transmission does duty in this application.

The Mercedes-Benz E-Class All-Terrain will appeal to those people who prefer to have a more practical E-Class with the option of getting off the tarmac. It essentially locks horns with the Volvo V90 Cross Country.
