Suzuki Indonesia has launched the 2013 Splash with an option of automatic transmission – the same hatchback is sold in India as the Ritz and has received an update in last September. This was the second Suzuki car to get an update in Indonesia last week, as the company is now also offering Ertiga AT is the South Asian country.
The petrol Ritz is offered in Indonesia that is powered by 1.2-litre K-Series engine producing 85PS and 113Nm of torque. With the cosmetic upgrades the 2013 Splash looks similar to the global model that is also sold in India. The Indonesian version gets ABS-EBD, but it seems that the airbags have been omitted from the features list.
The prices of the hatchback are a bit on the steep side at 151 million Indonesian Rupiah (approx. Rs 8.3 lakh), as the new Ertiga AT with bigger engine and seven seats is priced starting 173.8 million Rupiah (approx. Rs 9.6 lakh).
