The next generation Mitsubishi Pajero Sport has been spotted undisguised ahead of its global unveiling on August 1. This version of the Japanese automaker’s legendary SUV will now enter its third generation. It follows a design theme in the footsteps of its pickup truck sibling the Triton which was launched earlier this year.
A combination of the Triton’s looks and leaked patent drawings had pretty much told us what the SUV would like and it appears to be spot on. The overall stance is muscular, bulky and very much in your face as is the case with the current car.
While the current Pajero Sport has rounded edges and is a bit curvier, this new model is mostly sharp edges and a decent amount of chrome to give it a premium feel. We do not have much information about the interior but going by what the Triton has to offer we can surely say that the Pajero Sport’s cabin will look pretty much the same.
