Jaguar Land Rover has launched a special edition XJ50 to celebrate five decades of the existence of their flagship sedan. Let's take a look at the top five highlights of the anniversary edition that celebrates half a century of trademark performance, technology and luxury. These are the key features in addition to standard premium luxury trim available.
1. Autobiography-style updates
The sedan is available in striking colours including fuji white, rosello red, loire blue and santorini black. However, what primarily differentiates this version from the standard sedan are the Autobiography-style front and rear bumpers.
2. Large wheels
The carmaker has equipped the vehicle with large 19-inch (48.2cm) wheels that give the car a nice look.
3. Unique badging
To differentiate the special edition from the regular version, there are many changes on the outside and inside as well. This includes a chrome radiator grille with chrome surrounds. However, the unique badging to the rear and side vents is the highlight on this sedan.
4. New seats
The seats in this car get soft-grain diamond-quilted seats with an embossed leaper on the headrests adding to exclusivity.
5. Intaglio branding
Furthermore, there’s an XJ50 logo on the centre armrest and a unique intaglio branding inside. Anodised gearshift paddles, bright metal pedals and XJ50-badged illuminated treadplates are other highlights that further differentiate the anniversary edition from the regular XJ sedan.
