Tata Tiago Facelift Preview
The Tata Tiago will get a mid-life update with the Altroz inspired IMPACT 2.0 design philosophy. The vehicle has been spied on test in India on numerous occasions thereby indicating on its possible launch sometime soon. The vehicle will get an edgier and sharper front end than the current model.
Based on what can be seen, the Tiago facelift will get a new headlight shape that is carried forward from the Altroz along with the projector units. Then there is the mesh grille which will be raked inwards from the top and this little change adds a lot of sporty appeal to the little hatchback. And the front bumper sports a new design complemented with larger air vents. We also expect a revised fog lamps design to be a part of the update.
Under the hood, the new Tata Tiago will continue to be powered by the 1.2-litre three-cylinder Revotron petrol motor that produces 84bhp/114Nm. The diesel is the 1.05-litre Revotorq motor with 69bhp/140Nm. Both the engines can be had with a five-speed manual gearbox or an AMT.
As for the interior, the Tiago will get a revised feature list with added equipment and safety hardware. Apart from the standard safety kits, other new features like front seat belt reminder and speed alert system will also be included. What’s more, the cabin might also feature new upholstery, revised touchscreen system and more creature comfort.
