Volkswagen inaugurates first digital experience centre in Coimbatore

Volkswagen inaugurates its first new-age digital experience set-up in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. The centre gets a 200 sq. ft. screen that displays virtual images of the entire Volkswagen product line-up. Moreover, it is also equipped with self-learning digital kiosks to explore products. The car manufacturer claims to offer an all new customer experience with a lounge and a café facility.

Speaking at the occasion, Mr. Steffen Knapp, Director, Volkswagen Passenger Cars, Volkswagen Group Sales India Pvt. Ltd. said “In line with changing customer consumption patterns, Volkswagen has taken a step forward with the launch of the first ever digital experience set-up in India. Volkswagen Coimbatore is sure to enhance customer experience and add a premium touch through the use of technology and innovation. The new set-up will enrich the entire process of buying a car thereby making it a memorable experience.”  

The new Volkswagen Coimbatore outlet is a paperless facility that is aimed at offering convenience and personal space for customers to explore carlines in detail through technology. The digital screens will mirror iPads for customers to have a better look and feel of the products. Moreover, the dealership will also have professionally trained personnel to assist customers with buying. The facility is located at Avinashi road, Peelamedu and has two cars on display.
