Renault opens a new sales outlet in Jaipur

Renault India has inaugurated a new sales outlet in Jaipur, Renault Jaipur West, at Gopalpura Bye Pass in partnership with Nirmal Cars Private Limited. The outlet was inaugurated by Mr. Sumit Sawhney, Country CEO and Managing Director, Renault India. Spread on two levels over an area of 10,600 sq. ft., the Renault Jaipur West has a capacity to display upto eight cars.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Sumit Sawhney, Country CEO and Managing Director, Renault India said, “Network reach is vital in ensuring Renault’s increasing visibility across the country and Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Uttarakhand have all played key roles in Renault’s success so far. With today’s inauguration, we look forward to extending our presence in this important market as well as offer excellent brand experience for customers - from the very first test drive, to delivery and after sales.”

Renault Jaipur West is the second dealership locations West Jaipur, the first one being located in southern part of the Pink City. Renault also has two service and spare parts facilities in the city. The new outlet has increased Renault’s footprint in the Central Zone to 16 outlets. In line with its new strategy, Renault India will be opening seven more dealerships in Kota, Roorkee, Rudrapur, Gorakhpur, Bareilly, Moradabad, Aligarh, Mathura and Jhansi, bringing the total number of outlets in the Central Zone to 25.

Renault currently offers five models in India, the Pulse, Scala, Duster, Fluence and the Koleos. These cars are manufactured at the Renault-Nissan facility in Oragadam, Chennai, which also dishes out cars for the company’s foreign markets. While the Duster is a huge success in India, the rest of the lineup hasn’t exactly managed to make an impact in the market. Renault India currently has 125 dealerships in the country and targets to set up 50 more touch points by the end of this year. With this new strategy, Renault hopes to increase its sales figures by setting up more dealerships and increasing its footprint across the country.
