To stay on par with competition in the festive season German automaker Volkswagen has announced the Volksfest 2016; a month long mega carnival, where existing and prospective customers can avail a range of attractive offers, benefits and assured gifts across all Volkswagen dealerships in the country. Moreover, potential customers also stand a chance to avail attractive finance offers along with assured branded gifts for every car booking.
To make things further interesting, the automaker is also offering exclusively customised gifts for every test drive along with a chance to with the Blaupunkt multimedia tablet. The Volksfest 2016 event began from October 1 and it ends on October 31. In India, the German automaker sells the Polo, Vento, Jetta, Beetle and Ameo.
Volkswagen India had recently launched the Ameo diesel in the country at a starting price of Rs 6.27 lakh. Powered by a 1.5L 4-cylinder TDi engine, the vehicle puts out about 108bhp of power and 250Nm of max torque. The sedan comes mated to a five-speed manual and the first-in-segment seven-speed DSG transmission. In terms of safety, it gets ABS and front airbags in manual transmission variant, while the automatic additionally gets ESP (Electronic Stabilisation Program) and Hill Hold Control.
