The Mercedes-Benz C-Class is still relatively new for the Indian market but in Europe, it has been around for quite some time. Naturally, it’s time for a facelift with exterior, interior and efficiency upgrades.
Mercedes, as we know, is going full throttle on renewing their model range and the current-gen C-Class is no exception. Spied on test in Spain (and undisguised in Stuttgart) was a indication of a facelifted model of the popular sedan.
On the outside, the makeover will incorporate new rear lamps and revised bumpers on both ends, plus new headlights or, to be precise, a new layout of the single lights in the lamp units. Expect some upgrades for the cabin both in terms of upholstery and features. Mechanically, this car is expected to continue with the same set of four-cylinder petrol and diesel engines that the current car has. The updated cabin will include a new steering wheel with more controls as well as a new touchpad.
We expect the updated C-Class to arrive in the showrooms in Europe early next year. It will compete against the Jaguar XE, Audi A4 and the BMW 3 Series.
