After having a good 2010, Jaguar Land Rover plans to introduce new models and upgrade a few of the existing ones. The Tata-owned group is even expanding its dealership network, as it recently inauguarated a dealership in Bangalore.
Range Rover Evoque: The company plans to introduce the Evoque probably by the end of this year. The Evoque is likely to the 2.2-litre diesel, 190bhp which is the same oil-burner that does duty on the Freelander2 and 2.0-litre petrol engine. The petrol produces 245bhp of power. The cars have already reached ARAI for testing. The Evoque which is launched internationally comes with 3-door and 5-door option, and we aren't very sure if they will come with a 3-door version in India. The SUV is likely to be priced above Rs 35lakhs and the pricing could go upto Rs 50lakhs.
Jaguar XF facelift: The Jaguar XF will get a facelift in 2012, the fascia will be similar to the Jaguar XJ and the Jaguar XF will even be available with the 2.2-litre four-cylinder diesel engine.
Jaguar XJ facelift: The Jaguar XJ will get a facelift in 2012. The styling will remain similar and a new rear seat package. This will game Jaguar's game against the German competition, as most of the Indian customers buying the XJ spend most of their time in the rear seat.
