Festive seasons bring out the best in manufacturers and it’s the time when most of the new launches and updates are brought out. Datsun has just launched the redi-GO GOLD 1.0L. Changes include gold decals on the outside along with gold-themed seats.
The special edition also gets first-in-segment Ambient Lighting app for mobile phones with which a customer can choose the mood lighting of the passenger cabin to suit his or her taste. The limited edition model is available on the T (O) trim level, with features such as Bluetooth audio system, and a reverse parking sensor, among others. The car will be availbale in Grey, Silver and White.

Mechanically, the redi-GO remains unchanged and is powered by the same 1.0L, three-cylinder engine with a 5-speed gearbox pushing out 67bhp and 91Nm of torque. The redi-GO goes up against the Renault Kwid, Hyundai Eon and the Maruti Suzuki Alto.
