Maruti Alto K10

Positives:

• It has steering-mounted audio and voice controls and a speedometer with a digital speed display.

• Space is just about adequate for four adults and getting in and out does not require one to bend too much.

• There's adequate room for regular-sized adults with sufficient headroom in the front row and good all-round visibility.

• Since it is a narrow car, reaching out to adjust the left ORVM from the driver's seat is not a stretch.

• It has a 214-litre boot (non-CNG version) that can carry three or four medium-sized bags and has no intrusions in the enclosure.
• The entire Alto K10’s cabin gets cooled quickly despite the absence of rear AC vents.

• The front-row passengers get two cup holders in the centre console and some space for a phone or wallet.

• Its seven-inch SmartPlay Studio touchscreen unit supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and sounds reasonably good for an entry-level car.

Negatives:

• The second row has no storage spaces other than the bottle holder in the centre console.
• Tall drivers will find the seating position difficult as their knees will be close to the steering.
• Since it is narrow, seating three in the back seat is tight, and the headroom is restrictive too.

Positives

• The standard safety features include dual airbags, ABS with EBD, ESP, reverse parking sensors, high-speed alert, and front and rear seatbelt reminders.
• It also has a speed-sensitive auto door lock and impact-sensing door unlock. 

Negatives:

• The Maruti Alto K10 has not received any crash test ratings from the NCAP authorities. 

Positives:

• It has a honeycomb grille and 13-inch steel wheels with wheel covers.

• The paint quality, panel gaps, and fit and finish are acceptable at this price point.

• The Alto K10’s proportions are satisfactory for an entry-level city car.

• The metallic paint shades are Sizzling Red, Silky Silver, Granite Grey, and Speedy Blue.
• The non-metallic colours include Premium Earth Gold, Solid White, and Bluish Black.

Negatives:

• The Alto K10’s design is not exciting or attractive in any way.
• The cabin layout, hard plastics, black-grey accents, and quality of the fabric point to cost-cutting measures.
