Renault Kwid updated with more features

Renault’s popular entry-level car, the Kwid has been introduced with a fresh set of safety and convenience features in India at no additional cost. The updated model now gets standard safety features in form of driver airbag, anti-lock braking system with electronic brakeforce distribution, driver and co-driver seat belt reminder and speed alert. The vehicle also gets a segment-first rear view camera assist through sound warning and colour guidelines which are standard across all variants.

The new Kwid range is available in existing 0.8L and 1.0L SCe powertrains in manual and AMT options. The top spec version also gets a new and intuitive 17.64cms touchscreen Media NAV system with Android and Apple CarPlay. The system also gets a ‘push to talk’ button that allows easy operation with just a press of a button to access applications like music and videos, all of which can be seamlessly used through a smartphone. The Kwid Climber variant now gets an additional rear armrest. Moreover, the AMT variant now gets the traffic assist feature that helps the vehicle crawl forward in slow moving traffic and prevents it from rolling back on slopes. 

The updated Kwid is available in six colour options - fiery red, planet grey, moonlight silver, ice cool white, outback bronze and electric blue for the climber.
