The German company has been pursuing an aggressive network expansion strategy in India along with a full-scale product invasion as well. After rounding off the year with its last launch for this year, the new C-Class, the company has opened its sixth outlet in Gujarat, in Surat.
Mercedes-Benz already has to its credit the densest network in India with a total of 68 outlets in 37 cities. This new facility, Benchmark Cars Surat, in Gujarat, was built with an investment of over Rs 70 million and holds within itself a state-of-the-art showroom and service center. The showroom, its 11th this year, is located at Surat Dumas Road, Piplod, Suratland, while the service centre is located at Icchapore G.I.D.C, ONGC Road. Featuring 20 service bays, it will provide the customers a complete luxury ownership experience. The showroom will cater to the towns of Vapi, Valsad, Navsari, Silvasa and more. Spread over 10,000 sq. ft., the showroom has an 11-car display, along with a customer lounge, cafeteria area, children play area, boutique display, finance and insurance, new car delivery area which is aimed at providing a superlative luxury car ownership for customers.
