BMW now offering M performance accessories in India

Yes the headline is true!  For those of you who can afford a BMW, the German automaker is now offering its high performance accessories packages in India. Launched during a function held at BMW dealer in Chandigarh, the M performance parts can now be ordered for the recently launched 1 Series, 3 Series and the 5 Series. 

The M performance packages are basically accessories and modified parts for the standard cars in a bid to make them sportier and more performance oriented. The performance additions include body kits, carbon fibre parts for the interiors and exteriors, rear spoilers, modifications to the chassis and engine all in a bid to make the car more powerful. Other M Performance packages include racing seats, sporty body paint, Alacantra upholstery option, M division decals, performance oriented BMW alloy wheels and what appears to be shift lights on the steering wheel.

BMW has not announced any prices for the M performance parts and packages as yet but we expect them to cost upwards of Rs 50, 000 and that does not include the price of the car. However, we are excited that BMW has now taken the such major step for the Indian market and it obviously means that they see big potential for the Indian market in the future.
