    • Nissan Magnite Kuro Edition
Good car. Fun to drive. Good ground clearance. Short on features, but features are not that needed. Great headlights. The service is also quick and helpful. Overall, a fun car for daily commutes. I get an easy 15+ kmpl on the road.

    • Car performance is very good but, I regret buying base variant
I bought the Nissan Magnite in March 2024 after watching many videos about converting the base variant into a top-end model through aftermarket customisation. I thought buying the base model and upgrading it later would save money and still give a premium experience. But after buying the car and visiting the famous customisation shops on Minister Road, Hyderabad, I was disappointed. Most shops only know basic work like central locking, touchscreen infotainment, speakers, and simple accessories. Beyond that, most of the available modifications are low-quality plastic stick-on items that don’t feel premium. The biggest irritation in the XE variant is the boot opening mechanism. There is no proper external boot release. The only way to open the boot is through a button near the AC controls inside the car, which is inconvenient in daily use. Another thing I noticed is that there is no auto cut-off/auto-off feature for cabin lights in the base variant. If you accidentally leave the lights ON after locking the vehicle, the battery can drain. This happened to me 4 times, so one has to be very careful every time while leaving the car. One more thing I didn’t like is the rear windows. They don’t roll down completely — only around 70%. The company says it is for child safety, but it feels restrictive. Engine performance, mileage, and overall driving experience are decent for the price. But if someone is planning to buy the base variant, thinking it can easily be converted into a top variant, my suggestion is to think twice. Achieving proper OEM-quality customisation is much harder than it looks in YouTube videos.

    • Need to improve in performance sector
This car has a good look. Also, the new cosmetic facelift has improved exterior and interior looks. The leather-finished interior gives a premium finish. But the old same performances in power and torque may create issues for less attention.

    • When Space, Comfort & Common Sense Beat Spec Sheets _ A Practical Buyer’s Story
      user-review-images-1119473-0
Been driving this car for just over a month now. When we started looking, the requirement was very clear: a spacious automatic for daily office use in Mumbai, easy enough for my wife (a new driver), effortless ingress and egress for aged parents, and rear passenger headrests for long-drive comfort. With this checklist in mind, I had been extensively reviewing cars for over a year and had firmly concluded NOT TO BUY NISSAN. By December 2025, the search narrowed down to the usual suspects — Tata, Hyundai, and Maruti — with a strong bias towards closing on a Wagon R AMT. Over nearly four weekends, we sat in and evaluated almost everything within or slightly above our budget: Tiago, Tigor, Altroz, Punch, i10, Exter, Wagon R, and Fronx. In many of these cars, we didn’t even feel the need to fire up the engine or take a test drive — the basic requirements just weren’t there. Eventually, though still not fully satisfied, we were almost about to close on the Altroz. Then, almost by fluke, we happened to pass a Nissan showroom — despite having a very clear mindset of not buying one. We stepped in, sat inside, and everything changed. The space on offer was immediately impressive. Seating front and rear felt ergonomically spot-on, ingress and egress were just right, and the dashboard was refreshingly no-nonsense. The driving experience itself wasn’t mind-blowing — honestly, not at the level of my old Maruti Ritz or even the new Altroz — more in the same bandwidth as a Tigor. Yet, somehow, everything felt right. Despite the known reliability concerns, we didn’t overthink it as we did elsewhere. Decision made, no time wasted. Now, after living with the car for over a month, I can confidently vouch for the real-world driving experience. This is not a car for enthusiasts. From a signal stop, it creeps forward gently, and people behind will honk during the first 3–5 seconds. However, once it settles into its sweet spot around 20 km/h, it drives comfortably and smoothly up to about 65–70 km/h. Beyond that, acceleration isn’t as linear and does take time. This sweet driving zone really rewards a soft-foot driving style Fuel efficiency has been quite realistic and in line with expectations: ~9 km/l in heavy Mumbai evening traffic 13–14 km/l in mixed city conditions 19 km/l on traffic-free Sunday city drives 23 km/l on the Mumbai–Pune Expressway, cruising at 70–80 km/h After checking with friends using other brands, these numbers are fairly comparable and not out of line with what most cars actually deliver. I also started noticing something interesting — no matter how quickly other cars accelerate in city traffic, they’re not really reaching any sooner than you would in this one. That realisation came after the first few days, when I used to get genuinely irritated by how this car refused to break speed limits even on hard acceleration. Once you tune into its rhythm, it becomes very easy to live with. Yes, the engine does vibrate a bit when in reverse gear, but honestly, that’s not a deal breaker given everything else it offers. What this car truly gets right for me are the basics: well-sized seats, excellent ergonomics, a simple and intuitive dashboard, just the right features (nothing flashy or overdone), easy ingress for elders, and interior finish quality that feels better than any Maruti I’ve experienced. If you’re in the market for a new car, my only advice would be this: make a clear list of your requirements, then physically sit in every car you possibly can. Don’t rely only on reviews or opinions. Somewhere along the way, there will be a moment — almost like a divine intervention — that tells you this is the right car for you.

    • Nice car for small family
      user-review-images-1047517-0
Value for Money (VFM) & Pricing: The Magnite is often praised for its aggressive and competitive pricing, offering a lot of features for its segment. Space and Practicality: The cabin is generally considered spacious for a car in the sub-4 meter category, with good legroom and a decent boot space (336 Litres).
