Positives:

• Gets a flat-bottom steering with tilt and telescopic adjustment, cruise control, and other steering-mounted controls.

• The rear portion of the Fronx’s cabin feels airy despite the dark interior colour theme.

• Is equipped with a height-adjustable driver’s seat, driver armrest, push-button start, and automatic climate control.

• The rear bench seat has good cushioning with good under-thigh support and adequate legroom.
• Is offered with a 360-degree camera, wireless charging, heads-up display, rear AC vents, and rear fast charging USB port.

• It comes with an Arkamys nine-inch SmartPlay Pro+ HD infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

• The Maruti Fronx also comes fitted with Suzuki Connect which has 40-plus connected car features.

Negatives:

• When three passengers are seated at the rear, there is a lack of shoulder room.
• To fit the crossover positioning, the Fronx’s cabin height should have been more than the Baleno’s (for extra headroom).

Positives:

• The Fronx comes with six airbags, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), and reverse parking sensors with a 360-degree camera.
• There’s also a hill-hold assist, rear defogger, auto-dimming IRVM, and three-point ELR seatbelts for all seats.

Negatives:

• The Fronx has not been tested by the NCAP authorities for crash safety ratings.
• This crossover misses out on Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS) functionality.

Positives:

• Has a sharp aerodynamic design, bold front and rear fascia, and muscular shoulder lines to entice buyers who want something different.

• It gets connected taillamps with attractive detailing and 16-inch dual-tone geometric precision-cut alloys.

• The Fronx sits higher than the Baleno due to the larger profile tyres and longer suspension setup.

• The muscular design elements make it an overall more interesting design than that of the Baleno, the car it is based on.
• The cabin’s design with the dual-tone dashboard having forged metal finish/accents, feels more upmarket than Maruti’s other hatchbacks.

Negatives:

• There are comparable bits with similarly priced Maruti cars like the basic design, colours, and textures; need more originality.
