Positives:

• It has climate control, heads-up display, and a Smartplay Cast touchscreen infotainment system with smartwatch connectivity.

• There are steering-mounted controls, sliding centre armrest, tilt and telescopic steering, rear AC vents, and a 60:40 split folding rear seat.

• It gets a wireless charger, rear Type-A and Type-C charging ports and Toyota i-Connect functions like remote vehicle ignition and door lock and unlock functionality.

• All controls are easily accessible, visibility is excellent, it has good quality, there’s adequate space, and the seats are comfortable.

• The second row has ample leg room, thigh support here is sufficient, and the headroom is just about adequate.

• You will find accommodating storage spaces such as in the front armrest, centre console, and door pads.

• Its 308-litre boot has space for at least two big bags and three to four soft bags.

Negatives:

• Tall passengers may find the headroom restrictive due to the angled roofline.
• Our test car kept indicating to wear the seat belt even when the second row was empty.
• The rear air-con vents are positioned too low to throw air in the appropriate direction.

Positives:

• It has a heads-up display, 360-degree camera, auto anti-glare mirror, over-speed alert, and six airbags.
• As standard safety equipment, it comes with dual front airbags, vehicle stability control, ABS with EBD, hill-hold assist, reverse parking sensors, and three-point seatbelts (all seats). 

Negatives:

• The Urban Cruiser Taisor has not yet received any safety ratings from the NCAP authorities. 
• The top-end variant’s 360-degree camera is not an HD display.

Positives:

• The trapezoidal grille with chrome garnish, which extends to the edges and blends nicely into the LED DRLs, looks extravagant.

• The roof-rails and dual-tone paint lend a hint of sportiness to the exterior design.

• It has 16-inch machined alloy wheels and connected LED taillamps that further enhance the look.
• The cabin design looks stylish, modern, and adequately premium.

Negatives:

• Apart from the Toyota emblem on the steering, the interior design is similar to that of the Maruti Fronx. Toyota missed the opportunity to incorporate unique tweaks.
