Hyundai Exter

The buying experience was absolutely very smooth, very happy with the driving experience too. I loved this car at first sight and bought it. The most interesting part is the value-for-money variant HX6 automatic. I compared most of the cars, but this stood tall for me. Driving is very smooth, with only a little bit of lag at the beginning.

Ride not comfortable, driving is jerky, Fuel consumption is pathetic. I bought it because wanted a small car for city drive. Khaki color attracted me. Overall bad. Company should stop selling Exter, which already I have written to Hyundai company also.

I love most of the things it offers at this budget; the ride comfort, fit and finish,the cabin space and so on. Initially i was about to go for fronx or punch as most of the comparative videos and reviewers suggest, but the coupe design of fronx gave it off (limited cargo) and then the after-sales service of tata (lagging behind in competition). So exter was the most rounded option (4 cylinder 1.2 l engine, compact dimension not so big not so small just the right size for my liking ) Then the facelift was announced and loo the new exteriors/interior got more good looking with just some changes here and there . Especially the driver's side armrest and sporty spoiler. Riding with 5 onboard is quite comfortable(4 adult 1 child) but it feels slightly delayed accelerating as compared to fronx and puch in same conditions (i have tested on these two also; with fronx being turbo one), and again exters overalls like least cabin noise , space and comfort felt better among the three . So i opted for exter. And here comes the not-so-good part Watered down the top manual transmission variant (previously sx and sxo had a manual option, but now a new nomenclature has been introduced, striped hx8 from some features that i was keen on having in a top manual variant) 1 buildt in gps navigation 2 dual dashcam front & cabin recording( only front recording in my hx8 manual) 3 adaptive guidelines in reversing mode and drvm button 4 soft close roof grab handles All these were present in last year's SX/sxo manual transmission, but it got pulled back to the HX10 only which amt only varient sadly. And one more nitpick would be a missing sunglass holder at the roof. Recently completed 500kms with my exterior HX8, and its a fun to ride car.

I am totally satisfied with my Hyundai Exter HX3. It is a complete package with good power, performance, comfort, and features. The car is well-suited for daily commuting as well as long-distance drives. The performance in hilly areas is impressive, and the vehicle handles inclines with ease. After driving around 3,000 km, I am getting an overall mileage of approximately **15 km/l**, which is quite satisfactory. Compared to the **Tata Punch**, I feel the Exter offers better power delivery and a more refined driving experience, especially during overtaking and uphill driving. Overall, the **Hyundai Exter** provides an excellent balance of performance, comfort, features, and fuel efficiency, making it a great choice for both city and highway driving.
