The new Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza is expected to be launched sometime in 2022.
Under the hood, the new Brezza is expected to be powered by the same 1.5-litre K-Series petrol engine from the current-gen model that produces 103bhp and 138Nm of torque. The five-speed manual and the four-speed torque converter automatic transmissions are likely to be carried over too.
Based on the sightings of the prototypes on several occasions, the most noticeable change is the repositioned number plate recess that is now seen lower, close to the rear bumper. We expect the carmaker to make cosmetic changes inside out along with redesigned alloy wheels, a new dashboard layout and added features.
The 2022 model will be a mid-life update for the Vitara Brezza and is expected to be priced from Rs 8 lakh to Rs 11.50 lakh.
