Positives:
- The Hyundai Aura features a 1.2-litre petrol engine that generates 82bhp and 113.8Nm, mated to a five-speed manual transmission and a five-speed AMT gearbox.

- During CarWale tests, the power delivery felt mostly predictable and overall smooth to drive.
- There is a strong response from the engine from around 2,500rpm to about 5,000rpm.

- It has decent low-end torque where one can easily go over a speed breaker in third gear.
- At higher speeds, the engine noise in the Aura can be heard somewhat noticeably inside the cabin.

- It manages to do zero to 60kmph and zero to 100kmph runs in 5.33 seconds and 12.33 seconds, respectively.
- The soft ride quality ensures broken roads, undulations, and bumps are absorbed at moderate speeds.

The modern design and sleek looks make it stand out beautifully on the road. When it comes to performance, it delivers a punchy yet smooth driving experience that feels very refined. One of the absolute highlights is the AC system—it is exceptionally powerful and cools down the entire car within minutes. The cabin feels premium, comfortable, and well-designed. About the ReviewerPurchase NewDriven ForOver 500 km70 - 20,500 km Later: Why Our Hyundai Aura is More Than Just a Machine
It’s been over three years since we said goodbye to our heavy Ford Fiesta and welcomed the Hyundai Aura S Plus AMT into our lives. Now, crossing the 20,500 km mark and finishing the first paid service, I can finally look back and say: this car has earned its place in our family. The "Family" Test For a mechanical engineer like me, a car is usually just a machine. But for us, the Aura has been a witness to life. It’s where Kannan naps peacefully in the back seat on our return trips from family functions. It’s the reliable partner that takes Mahalakshmi and me through the chaotic Coimbatore traffic without a fuss. Even Dad finds the ingress and egress easy, which matters more to me now than horsepower ever did. The Drive: Practicality Over Passion Coming from the solid Ford, I was skeptical about the "light" Hyundai build. But honestly? It stands solid. The AMT: Yes, as an engineer, I know it’s not the most advanced gearbox. There is that slight "head-nod" when it shifts, but in bumper-to-bumper traffic, my left leg blesses this car every day. For my relaxed driving style—cruising at 100 km/h or occasional bursts to 140—it is obedient and stress-free. The Workhorse: Whether it’s loading the boot with luggage for a trip or handling our monthly runs, it never complains. It just does the job. The Service Experience: Peace of Mind I was worried about the shift from "Free Service" to "Paid Service," but the recent visit was a pleasant surprise. The service was smooth, the bill was reasonable, and the mechanics only replaced the standard worn-out parts—no unnecessary upsells. The car came back feeling tighter and fresher, ready for the next 10,000 km. The Verdict It might not have the raw handling of my old Fiesta, but it has something better: Reliability. It asks for very little and gives so much back in comfort and peace of mind. We plan to keep this car for its full life, and honestly, looking at how it’s running today, I know it’s going to be a long, happy journey together.Rating Parameters(Out of 5)4Exterior

About the ReviewerPurchase NewDriven ForOver 500 km00 - Value for moneyCar is very good mileage is awesome but the only problem is that whenever we are changing it the 'no' is coming from my engine and also company provided tire is very low quality in a 30000 they got soft and cracked also in a city CNG mileage is between 18 to 20 and on the highway it is 23 to 25 as I am residing in a Maharashtra CNG price are 92 rupees so running cost almost 6 rupees but if we are purchasing diesel car then it is same rupees per running kilometre cost so it's our choice whenever the CNG will go down then automatically this car will be more efficient and economicalRating Parameters(Out of 5)4
