Toyota Glanza Preview
Toyota Glanzais the rebadged version of the Maruti Suzuki Baleno. The premium hatchback is expected to be launched in India in June and bookings are likely to commence soon.
Toyota Glanza is the rebadged version of the Maruti Suzuki Baleno. The premium hatchback is expected to be launched in India in June and bookings are likely to commence soon. The Glanza will initially be manufactured at Suzuki’s Gujarat facility, while production will be shifted to Toyota’s Bidadi facility later this year.
Toyota will offer the Glanza in two trim levels – G and V – which will be available with manual and automatic (CVT) transmissions. The car will feature a revised front grille, while the overall design will be similar to the Baleno. Toyota will offer a premium after sales experience for its customers, which will comprise of a Smartphone App, extended warranties, Toyota Express Service (TOYOTA EM60), exclusive Toyota accessories, Toyota QService, body & paint warranty, Toyota Financial Services and Roadside Assistance among others.
Toyota Glanza will pack a 1.2-litre K12B BS-VI compliant petrol engine that is good for 83bhp power and 113Nm peak torque. It will be mated to a 5-speed manual transmission, while a CVT will be on offer as well. There will be no diesel powertrain on offer.
