Exterior Good looking style and every one who like the design not so modern or not boring.Looks like sedan.

 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) I have bought and using Exi diesel,features is good what i spend on the car.Five adult can comfortably cud travel on this car.have very space on the rear and front .Audio quality is good with four speakers.luggage space also very good compare to other hatches.

 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox proven engine known for quality and fuel economy on city with ac is around 18 km and in highway 20 plus.Gear shift feel ruberish now i am facing some hitch while changing gears.So for done around 14500 km in 6 months.

 

Ride Quality & Handling Excellent ride quality and handling also good.

 

Final Words Value for money hatch.Ford needs to improve the dealer network.Support from the dealers are very pathetic.They are always threating the customer not encouraging to do some alteration in the car and even for the bulb.No addl accessories are available even after 6 months from ford itself.

 

Areas of improvement Dealers to be trained  to handle the customer in better manner.I have done two services every time i have noticed new scratches on the body as well as windshield.After so much of complained no reaction from the customer.After six month usage i have noticed rear doors are not closing gently and need to put extra efforts.Dealers are not having basic spares like mud flop and other basic accessories and customer needs to wait for almost for a month. Services is not carried out upto our wish.Always shortfall in giving the vehicle.

Exterior : Exterior is very trendy.Presently there is a trend for many manufactureres to cut the back side and make it flatter.It does not look nice most of the times.Even Zen-Estilo older version was a disastor. But Figo perhaps used the ford-fusion structure.It  looks nice.The colours are good.Squize is more vibrant.No alloy wheels are given.The ground clearence is compareable with others

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) : Interior is really nice.Back seat ,leg space is spacious.Dash board is trendy with a different colour.Sound system is excellent.Space utilisation including the boot space is overwhelming.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox: Can not be judged within a short trial but 70BHP in 1200 cc engine is a bit less than the competitors.

Ride Quality & Handling: The feel is good

Final Words: Facilities with respect to the price is more.

Areas of improvement: More vibrant colours can be introduced, dash borad colour compared with  exterior should be more compatible.Alloy wheels may be introduced.

Its a big car in B segment, indeed very promising. Decent kinetic look and large boot space.

From rear looks like SUV. 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

Black interiors are impressive. Plastic used look like a bit lack in finishing. Silver color used in doors looks good. Front adjustable seats are confy. Rear seats are having enough space to fit 3 people easily. AC and Music system is awesome. 

The indicator switch is on left side of the steering.... a bit different.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

This is having same engine of tried,tested and successful Ford Fiesta. In Diesel this fule economy will vary from 18-20 on highway.

Ride Quality & Handling

Good pickup. Feels nice grip on road. Gives a feel of big cars. Solid performance. Can take sharp turns.

Final Words

Very good in its class. Value for money. If you are looking for a good car that require to have all capacity with good performance, then just book it.

Areas of improvement  

Rear power windows. 

Height for the rear seat passengers.

Exterior As the shape is "kienitic" specifics, the looks are different than that of Swift which is widely seen on the road. There are better options like POLO or MICRA but they take lot of cost along with the brandname.

 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Features are the best provided by Ford, even Fiesta does not have some of them. Space is good, comfortable to drive for long distances. Features like bluetooth u&me are very helpful when you are driving and also need to attend the phone calls, no more watching cops on the road while driving the car :).

 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Figo(Diesel ZXI) carries 1.4 TDI engine which is been used in Fiesta, it a proven engine, better reffer to the reviews of Fiesta's engine as its been into market for long time now. I drive in the traffic of Pune and i am getting 18+kmpl with AC and 20+kmpl on Highway with AC (avg. speed 80 - 100 on highway).

 

Ride Quality & Handling Since this engine has got turbo, the vehile takes good pickup at 2000RPM, this puts you ahead on the traffic signals. Figo is better in controlling due to good grip on the road.

 

Final Words  Cost of servicing and spare-part are as low as maruti swift, cost of servicing is also less. Check out cost of first servicing for other brands, you will see the difference. Reason for low cost of spares is because Ford now get them from Chennai Factory and also official declaration from Ford about cost reduction in the spares due to competition.

Hello guys,

I can have previlege to write about this car after using it for a year and after two services are done.

And I am happy to say that I own a quality hatch back. Ford figo has solid build quality which makes it a city car as well as a long drive vehicle. I have driven it with speed of 120 km/hr and I found it very stable with less load(Me, My wife and 1 kid and 1 baby). Figo is a heavy car that is the reason it is stable but gives relatively less mileage , I can say 2-3 km/l less compared to other hatchs in market. It has good legroom at back and at front as well(my family is with avearege height 5'6"). Though space above head is not that good but your head is not going to get bumped while onboarding and alighting for sure.It has good interiors especially if you choose ebony color scheme for interior , one may also like the coral scheme they provide.The dash board is excellent of the class of sedans.

Now coming to ride quality, I feel like driving a SUV when I drive it on highways(I drive between 70-90). Engine is smooth (I have petrol) and performs good at all speeds and loads.Gear handling is excellent, I have not seen this quality of comfort while changing gears in sedans like Dzire, Verna forget about Swift, Vista, etc. Suspension is also good.  It has best boot space and A/C compared to other hatchs there in market.

I had two free services done. The service center people were aproachable and customer friendly. While dropping car for service they checked and drive checked(along with me) for 1/2 an hour and after service all minor issues(seat sounds) were fixed. First service costed Rs 0 and second costed me Rs. 1000 (cost of oil and filter). But I found Ford people were in no hurry whatsoever which I have experienced with Maruti people(We have 800 in family). Overall service center experince was at par(lets hope it will the same at next visit)

Some of my observations related with mileage:

City: 13-14 km/l

Highways(speed betwen 70-80): 20 km/l

Highways(speed 90-100): 18 km/l

And with the competitive price tag its worth buy, I bought it for 4.16 L, now its 4.54L for ZXI Petrol

 Smooth areo dynamic body. Strong body. The bonnet does not drop immediately like a lot of cars in the hatch back segment.

 Seems to have a good performance claim 18 km/ litre of Diesel

Final Words

 In the price bracket its real value for money. Love the low sound of the engine and the way the vehicle handles the rough roads. It's better than the Punto as it has a higher ground clearance. The booth space is really good. The airconditioning is also   

Areas of improvement  

Material used for the Interior especially inside of the doors and the dashboard could improve. It's not so good for tall people would have liked to have a foot rest beside the clutch.

 At first i hated the looks and as the days passed i thought its Ok and now i had bought this car considering mainly the looks apart from its other exceptional features, FIGO's design structure is adopted from the SUV cut and at times it even resembles a mini SUV and this is a car which u need to have a closer look cos its very different compared to the indian/japanese hatches around and takes some time to attract you but once u get attracted i can bet tat u'l not change ur mind or atleast bother abt tis again. In One word  ----Cute and stylish (Better than Swift and Ritz for sure)

 To start with WOW will do some justice to FORD for giving such an intelligent package (Bluetooth conn, auto lock, fantastic dash and many more) at an affordable price cos this is were maruti was reluctant and had a legarthic attitude thinking that wat ever tey offer will be and hav to be accepted and now here's FORD to not only put an end to tat mindset but also have shown to the european car makers tat its possible to offer the same quality ( A LOT BETTER THAN MARUTI and on PAR with European standards) under an attractive price tag.

 Duratorq 1.4 TDCI is very good within the city and good in Highway, let it be the pickup nor the power it lives up to the market expectations on the hatches of its class (exception: I20), Gear box is damn good u can feel the shift and the response is outright u will enjoy the ride and power behind it for sure and hav to say tis the engine completely lacks turbo lag which makes u feel like driving a petrol car in the initial geras (1,2 & 3) and post the 3rd gear u'l have the big car like feel of the 1.4 diesel engine........it certainly behaves like a big car which is a part of FORD DNA.........

Atleast here "PLEASE ALWAYS COMPARE FORD WITH ITS EUROPEAN COMPETITORS AND NOT WITH MARUTIs cos FORD HAS ITS OWN REPUTATION DON'T TARNISH THAT IMAGE BY COMPARING IT WITH MARUTIs" Ride quality and Handling are spot on no more words to be spent on this just believe or go for a test drive especially if u r already driving an Indian/Japanese make u'l get to know the diff in a very few kilomtrs......'FIGO just showcauses FORD's well earned reputation'

 If u r lookin for a powerful, stylish, sporty and comfortable diesel hatch then go for FORD FIGO do compare with its rivals before making ur choice cos its witin ur rights but also dont ignore the brand value if at all there's no such thing as brand value then there would have been no such word.........

Areas of improvement  

 REAR is where FIGO has the room for improvement let it be the rear power windows nor the rear end design of the car which i think need a slight makeover the rest "ALL IS PERFECT" as far as FIGO is concerned.

 

Handling, Ride quality, brilliant interiors and of course the very cute look.Rear side look is a bit fussy but again it depends on angles u look , abscence of Rear power windows

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Good pick up, only lack is fuel economy, gives me 13.5 in City and 15 in High way.

Ride Quality & Handling Handling is easy safe and convenient.

Final Words Overall a good car to own From my point of view, Only milage if improved atleast @ 18 KM / Lit as other cars in same segment, will be teh best car to advise to others. Power windows for rear windows can be a added one. I have driven for @120 Km/Hr also on state highway, really easy to handle. The Interior space is  huge and gives a comfortable space for family members. Big boot space I was looking for as I generally travels with my family. MY family contains 5 adults and 3 kids (below 4 years) all we can enjoy drive in Figo. The pick up for the city ride also good.

Areas of improvement Mileage is the only concern I feel to be improved. Company also not misguiding, car is giving same as specified by company.

Exterior Exterior is a damn eye-catcher till now. Stylish edges all over the car, the cool flamboyent aerodynamic look is awesome. Though I feel the plastic used on the doors beside the windows are cheap looking, the Headlights are not powerful enough, the Wheel Covers are back-dated.

 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The colour combination of Coral Dashboard looks appealing to me, though the texture of dash fibre is bit cheap looking. The powerful AC is damn responsive & chills very fast & evenly. The AC vents are cool & very useful as it can rotate 360 degrees. The Glove box is bit small & touches the knees when you open it...bad positioning I would say. The inbuilt music system is preety cool though sometimes the current song gets shuffled with the restart of engine. Controlling the electrical ORVMs with the knob given is damn accurate & very useful. The height adjustment option of the Driver's seat is also very useful. But the noise isolation inside the cabin is bit poor, the cabin not very calm in that sense, though the cabin looksvery bright due to the 2 small windows beside the back seat. The stroage space of the doors have been designed dimag lagake. The best part of the interior is the Boot space which is quite big in its class & the light in their is very handy.

 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Now, as far as engine performance is concerened the engine is bit noisy than Quardrajet engines. Gear box is quite smooth & I used to get Fuel Economy in between 14 to 15 kmpl in the City. The pick up is standard.

 

Ride Quality & Handling The ridy quality is satisfactory but due to the low ground clearance often I used to get thuds from bumpers under the chasis with a least speed 20 km/h also. Other than that the suspension is quite good. The Power Steering is quite accurate & helps me to zig-zag easily though at higher speed the steering used to vibrate which is a bad inclusion in this fantastic car.

 

Final Words You can buy this car if you wanna have something different than Asian Manufacturers.

Areas of improvement Areas of improvement are few I hope Ford will sort it out & make this car a MUST BUY.
