      I am utterly disappointed with the new VW Polo MY 16 which was delivered to me.It was within a week of delivery that my engine light started to appear constantly. When I took the car to VW Service Center at Navi Mumbai, some genius enginner from the workshop says.. light is on as some rat must have bitten the wire. He did some temporary fix which he was not able to explain and the light temporarily turned off. After a couple of days the light turned on again, and this time I had a tough word with the showroom in-charge. Later this lady gave a practical answer and says there is a problem with one of the parts and it needs to be replaced. Mind it guys all this is happening when my car had not even run 100KM's (yes that new). Even the car's plastic and ribbons were still on the car.

      Going back to the story, another week past by till the new part arrived and it was bit back, so this time my car has visited the Service Center for the 4th time.

      So the new part functioned a bit ok for a week or so, YAY Happy 1 month Anniversary... but wait... Hey we are VW POLO and BANG!!!!!!!!, the engine light turned on again this morning...
      No only that, whenever I turn on the AC there is a small *hiss noise evertime my car goes into a pothole or running on an uneven road...
      now I have seriously started regretting buying this POLO...


      Did I get a new car with an old engine or is my car completely Faulty??????
      Do I have to take my car to the Service Center twice every week???

      I have been using different brands of cars over the past 2 decards but this is the first time any car has troubled me so much... that to a new one.

      Car has crrently run only 1300 kms and yet so many problems..

      The worst decision I made in my life is buying this junk of car . I purchased the vehicle in used condition and had barely run 8000 km and before purchasing I had checked the accident and maintenance records and there was none since the first service was to be at 15 k KM's. When driving in Bangalore one night I was traveling at around 60 km /hr and the right side front wheel suddenly popped out as the connecting rod just came off !! Called the VW road side assistance and was told a towing vehicle will take the car to the nearest location and after 3 hours a semi-truck came by with no proper towing equipment or tow bed . They used chain to lift the vehicle and also damaged the radiator . After 15 days they sent me a repair estimate of 1.2 lakh and I told them this was to be covered under warranty because it was not an accident but a mechanical failure but they did not agree and forced me to file for insurance and the insurance company denied the claim stating it wasn't an accident . After running pillar to post and vw stopped replying to my emails . To top this off It took them 3.5 months to fix the car . The ground clearance of this car is pathetic Very noisy cabin Ineffective brakes Boring interiors Expensive service and parts Manufacturer is dishonest Finally sold the 8.5 lakh car for a mere 2.5 lakh due to all its issues and had run only 36000 KM's and went for ford and am super happy with Ford's service and vehicle quality. Will never buy any VW car or recommend it to anyone . German engineering my A** .

      About in starting 2011 I bought this amazing and an excellent car. It was one of the most stylish hatchback at that time . It's riding experience was excellent that even I went to many long and tough routes like Leh Ladakh,Shimla ,Manali and to many more places The car is very good and low cost in terms of service as it never required any extra services or gave us any engine problems or any other problems all your duty is to get the service done at the correct time . The car mainly had pros except for two which I thought were important that were rear power windows and parking camera That was all I would say But till now I love my polo

      I have been an owner of this since 2012. I really enjoy driving this car with its pick up, road grip and no matter what speed you are in , the breaking and the road grip are excellent. Even after 7 years , i still love driving this car. Safety wise you feel more safe with its heavy built body. you feel the difference by its doors itself when you look at the other car manufacturers. Mileage was pretty decent not that bad. Cons: 1. Space with the price. This is the only drawback. 2. Servicing and spares are bot expensive. Thanks, venkat

      The car is very fun to drive . It feels like to make more speed . Engine sound is also awesome. The interior and built quality is one of the awesome in volkswagen Cars . Some cons are that the clutch is very heavy to hold and running cost is very high . Rear seat passenger also feel uncomfortable to sit as less leg space and also ground clearance is very much less which should be improved .

      Have driven cars of various make!!but the polo have some extra added quality... U won't feel it unless u test it.. (I m not a company's agent to promote its quality but only a customer) "DRIVE IT TO FEEL IT"

      Pros : only look and build quality Cons: very bad interiors space Very noise full engine BaD suspension Hard handling Low fuel mileage Front space very bad if u don't slide seat back not to exit the car Power performance very bad compared to Hyundai
