Best small car but power house 1 of the best car of vw Solid build quality and heavy steel use in this car Very responsive drive road to connect stering wheel The Volkswagen Polo comes with a 1.2 litre petrol motor which churns out 75bhp and 110Nm of torque in the standard avatar. In the GT TSI variant the same engine is turbocharged which takes its power output of 105bhp along with a peal torque of 175Nm. The former gets a 5-speed manual gearbox whereas the later comes with a 7-speed automatic one. The Polo also gets a 1.5 litre diesel engine as well which is capable of producing 90bhp and 230Nm of torque. The same engine is turbocharged to produce 105bhp and 250Nm of peak torque in the GT TDI avatar. Both the engines are mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox which transfers the power to the front wheels.

(3 times same issue in 7 months and 6360KM and ENGINE LEAKING)

Final Words Engine malfunciton

1st time, Elite Bangalore service(Aug/2016). Traveled KM is 3231 when the indication came.

2nd time, Car towing by road assistance(that time I am a vacation with family). The car reached to PPS Motors Hyderabad service station(13/Oct/2016), they find the issue and replaced with new sensors. They took some long trip for testing. they return the car(31/Oct/2016).  Traveled KM is 5634 when the indication came.

3rd time, I visited the Elite Bangalore service station(4/Nov/2016). They have returned the car in a week. Traveled KM is 6360 when the indication came.

So if you want to keep face the problems with your car go ahead and buy. Keep visiting the service center.

Areas of improvement I failed the case on VW. 

I Posting to VW about the problem, they blocked me on Twitter and they will delete the problem comments(NOT ONLY MINE, THEY DELETED OTHER COMMENTS AS WELL). Instead of solving my problem.

Good: 5 stars for dimensions, single chase, trendlines are really worth for money.

Bad: Less space, fuel economy for petrol variants Its coooool. really juz try it. The main thing is safety so juz pls concentrate and choose a single chase body even if costly n maintenance n fuel economy. advice from myside buy DIESEL variants even if it s trendline in any segment. Cars dimensions will make every customer completely satisfy and worth for money.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox When speed comes below 15kmpl i have shift gear to first.

In city I am getting: 13-15 km/l. On Round: max i am getting 19.9kmpl. I go spped in between 80km/hr to 100 km/hr on long run. I use cruse control on long road. After tank full i have drived 570 Km still i can go 240 km. That is around 18 KM/hr in city + on long run.

Ride Quality & Handling: Fine Quality of metal. super. When you go faster spped it will spoil the car engine. I have not taken my car for the first service untill now. Next month i have to take.Have to check service cost. Once I have taken car for general checkup . the enginner said the car is in perfect condition.

Final Words:  11months completed i have travelled around 11000 km. no problem untill know. If you want better millage go at speed beteen 80-100 on long run. When you go faster spped it will spoil the car engine. I have not taken my car for the first service untill now.

Next month I have to take.Have to check service cost. Once I have taken car for general checkup . the enginner said the car is in perfect condition.

Areas of improvement When speed comes down it should have some pickup at second gear.

The only auto hatch that is worth buying upto the 10 lakh price range. The engine is a silent performer. The transmission is lightining fast. It regularly returns a FE of 13km/litre if driven with a light foot. The suspension is tuned for comfort. Its like no other manual/auto hatches for its price. This car shares the transmssion with some of the top spec mercs and bmers - anyone who spends on a petrol hatch between the 8-11 lakh inr range- this is the ONLY choice. The convenience of an automatic, which happens to be the best transmission tech in the world, 0 jerkiness and ample power at your disposal at all times across all rev ranges. To the fact that this car is pitted against the i20, baleno rs, WRV etc - its really a pity. To give some perspective the base model merc A class does not even have a dual clutch gearbox like this beauty.

Have driven 70000 km amazing experience of engine but leg room in back is little less. Pick up perfect no problems in overtaking, ac 5 out of 5 mileage it’s depends on you how you drive on highway 25 km/l in city 17 to 18 although company claims less. Really you should buy it if you are looking for hot hatch inspite of other car because its having 1500 cc engine most powerful in it class. If you keep it with care there is no need to change you car up to 2 lac km because it car it have great realiblity of engine.

1) Build Quality: Polo hasn't aged that bad. in fact it has no issues with its build quality! It has been simply superb! No rattles, except a minor squeaky sound from the air vent, which however is not persistent and isn't nagging either. The suspensions soak in the tarmac(if any) properly and ensure the drive is comfortable.

2) Mileage: I drive my Polo very gently, which translates in a fuel economy of approx 14kmpl in a city and 18+ kmpl on highways with a/c. I guess, that's decent ,I am happy with it!

3) Driving expericne : super handling across city , highways and ghat sections (forest drive=> long drives) 

4) After Sales Service: I'm staying in Bangalore, i feel its overall aberage services (in terms of service and spare management)
