A big hatchback car that can easily fit a family of five and can be squeezed to accomodate one more.

    DRIVING:
The Tata Indica Aura Safire 1.2 really lives up to be yet another masterpiece from the house of Tata. The beige interriors with the sophisticated dashboard is as soothing to the eyes as it's usefulness. The exterior of the car features striking headlamps shaped somewhat like eyes (in fact thats what it seemed to me with the lamps lit at night). Once you step inside the car, you find yourself comfortably seated in one of the most luxurious seats that a hatchback can sport. The driver seat with it's height adjustable lumbar support and front and back sliders makes driving a pleasure. The car features a power steering, which, again, is height adjustable. The passengers are drawn completely into the driving experience with the centrally mounted instrument console which boasts a tachometer and tripmeter. While making the car, as it seems, safety was one of the prime concerns of Tata and the car just breathes safety with it's every move. The safety acquires totality with the 3 point ELR seat belts, door ajar warning, central locking, rear door child safety locks, engine immobilizer and last but not the least, tubeless tires. The music player has been tuned to provide unmatched sound, having been mated with six speakers. The 2DIN audio system is capable of playing your favourite tracks from a pen drive or any other compatible USB device. Besides it also supports a headphone, thus enabling personalized entertainment. The floor console of the car has many utility spaces and you will never have to think again for some few extra pounds to carry. As one owning the car, I felt the Tata services quite satisfactory. But if you go for one, please be sure to check the car's finishing before they grant you possession of the car. As per my experience goes, when my car was delivered to me and I had driven half way to my home, I found the speedometer non-functional. I took the car immediately to the dealer who said that the engineer in charge of the delivery and inspection forgot to plug a wire. Although they fixed it in two minutes, I felt they should perhaps be more attentive while delivering a new car. The overall performance is just superb and I look forward to get more out of this car. It's a real beauty, with a beast engine inside that waits to be unleashed to it's total potential.Really roomy interriors, contemporary styling, superb ride quality and handling.Finishing not up to the mark, especially the roof rubber platings on the side.
