Nice car. Good Value for money. Low maintenance car. Nice car pickup. Engine configuration is good. Easy maintained car. Average of 14 kmpl in city. And 16 17 kmpl on highway. AC cooling is low.

Good: super engine and nice pick up torque is very much. 4 cylinder engine superb.

Bad: Mileage. In local cities I like verymuch. Becouse eacy to use and enjoye with friends and level looking amazing performing the car its level. Becouse 4 cylinder engine in 1000 cc. It is better than Alto/800/eon/kwid/etc.

I bought her a couple years back when it already had 1 lakh kms on the odo. Now, driven for more than 20,000 kms I'm extremely happy with the car. Its one of the most engaging, fun and no-nonsense car I've driven. Talking about the looks, there is minimal styling all around. But still has road presence if lowered or slightly modified. There are many such examples on our roads. On the inside, there isn't much to look at though. A minimal instrument cluster lacking a tachometer otherwise okay, normal gear lever which lacks the feel of a perfect throw, normal sized glove box are some of it. The steering is light and is easy to use in traffic. But it is a bit too light for my liking. The front seats are good for people with average height. The visibility throughout is excellent. Driving Zen is easy. The 1 liter engine feels peppy and lag-less. It changes direction quickly and being a small car it does not wobble around. City performance is adequate but highway overtakes make you drop down two gears. As a Maruti, servicing is a breeze and does not cost much. I prefer Maruti genuine engine oil and it works well. The service interval is also good(1 year or 10,000kms). But the downside to a decade old car is that some of the parts are not easy to get. Other than this problem it is a quite fun and reliable car!

I am using this car from last 1 yrs and  i am very happy about my car, when i purchased this car it was 2000 mpfi Vxi model  so my car was 12 yrs old  after buying car i feel it is very old so i was deciding to sale the car but when i driven tata indica turbo 2007 model it has lots of vibration and u wont fill that u drivind car , so i discuss  with my friiend he told me drawbacks about diesel car specialyy tata indica so i drop my plan to buy car later i have dicided to fitt the cng kits to my car it will be very econmical to me as the price of petrol hiking evry 3to 6 monts and after doing lots of reserach of cng vehicle owner i have fitted lovato cng kits to my car.

And I have driven the car with no pick-up problem and great average it give me when i filled cng tank for 33o rupees I run aroung 300 km and more on highway,

After overall my experience sbout car is very good.

We have a Zen vxi 2005 model in our garage. I love this tiny little cute looking car. Perfect car for small families. Low on maintenance great mileage. It's almost been 12 years N hasn't troubled us till now.just love my zen, though we have Cruze N fortuner but nothing can replace my Zen.good product by Maruti Suzuki.

Great performance however there was door issues. I used it for 10 years .. never gave any issues.. only doors locked used get unfunctinal specially in monsoon but it is very risky Mileage was 16 to 17 kms per liter and could be better Good car is small car segment Maintenance free
