Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire [2010-2011] User Reviews

Exterior Other may say hundred bad things about its looks and bad style but for me it is stylish. First time I saw this car two years back in a Mall in West Delhi. The first thing came to my mind was this car is so cool why are not people buying this..(I have not seen many of them on road by then). Then I was told by my friend that it has waiting period of 5-6 months, I was in love with the car from the very first time I saw it, So when I decided to buy a car the first name came to my mind was Dzire. But waiting period of 2-3 months was anooying me, still I finally decided and booked my Dzire, It is stylish and looks nice..

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Its interiors and features and fulfilling my Dzire..It is spacious, comfortable to drive and one will fall in love after driving it.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox It is just amazing to Drive this car.. It looks big but I guess I can zip it around on Delhi roads with such a good performing engine.

Final Words You will fall in love with this car..just Test-Drive it  once.

Colour,Style and Rear view plus Interiors Great,sporty black colour. Though similiar to Swift,stylish front and rear.Interiors look like SX4 and better than small Swift.Scores 10/10

Features, Space & Comfort,Fit and finish Fully loaded,but only ZXi gets rake steering,audio controls on steering wheel,AirBags and ABS.For features,it scores 8/10.Boot is big and spacious front, scores 9/10,but I hate Swifts rear seats and interiors,rear seats are same in the saloon Swift Dzire.Comfort scores only 5/10.Fit and finish lacks toughness of a Manza or Etios but it is better than Swift.Scores 7/10 in terms of fit and finish.

Price,Resale Value,Engine Performance,Fuel Ecomomy and Gearshift Great value for money,costs 5.63 Lakh On Road New Delhi .Full 10/10 marks. Like all Maruti cars(Except the Grand Vitara) it has good resale value.Scores 9/10. The engine is peppy,loves to rev and is completely quicker than Etios,Swift,i20 and Manza and deliveres a class-leading 84 PS but Manza has 90 PS but not as fun to drive and does feel strained because it is Linea Petrol Engine. Fuel economy is not far from Swift,deliveres 15 Kpl.The Swift Dzire 's gear is crisp and fun to use.

Ride Quality & Handling Great ride,superb handling.

Final Words Don't buy Manza or Logan in a hurry,check the peppy,fast and fuel efficient Swift Dzire but for high FE than go for Diesel VDi variant.It is cramped at back but stylish looking, great value for money also, costs 5.63 Lakh On Road Delhi.

Areas of improvement Rear Seat.Nothing Else.

Exterior Well. to be honest i really like the exterior, the front and rear both look appealing, but with that said, looks are always subjective. You may not like what i like. The one thing bad about the exterior is the paint. The paint looks brilliant when the car is new, but with usage, the paint looks really bad. It looks like a very old car which has been repainted. The quality of metal used is not at all good.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The car is loaded with features. Specially the top model is good value for money. I highly recomment the zdi or the zxi version which has steering mounted controls, better tyres, beige interiors, airbags and abs. The front seats are very good and excellent in terms of space and comfort. But for the rear seats, the ;ess said, the better. I am 6'1, and no one can sit behind me when i am sitting in the front. You will get the idea.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox I am satisfied with the engine performance of the car. There were no problems i have faced till date with the engine. Fuel economy is 10kmpl in the city and 17-18kmpl on the highway. The gearbox is supersmooth and beest in class if i must say so.

Ride Quality & Handling Now, comes the bad part. the ride quality is absolutely pathetic. If you are a car enthusiast and even the slightest bit of noise like rattles and creaking noises annoys you, then I will say, do not even consider this as your next car. You will be thoroughly dissapointed to say the least. The handling is very good, but the vxi has very slim tyres which makes the car vibrate on high speeds. I recommend a tyre upsize.

Final Words A good car, but not for people who get annoyed by rattling and creaking noises from the interior of their car. Maruti has used pathetic quality and the build of the car is not very good to say the least.

Areas of improvement NA.

Exterior A good sporty look with excellent design. The most beautiful external feature is its lesser length in comparison with other sedan cars. However, lesser visibility of left side from driver seat causes some problems in city driving.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Very comfortable overall but less legroom for rear seat is only minus point for this car. However, integrated audio player shoud be improved to accomodate DVD as well as USB Pendrive.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The main advantage is its engine performance, smooth gear transition and obviously great fuel economy. Never the less the fuel economy drops very little even if air conditioner is on.

Ride Quality & Handling Probably it is having second best road grip in indian cars after te swift. Also its excellent suspension gives unique riding experience even in slight bumpy roads.

Final Words A great gar in comparison with its price. Finally the excellent service offered by maruti suzuki is also an added advantage for the car.

Areas of improvement Increase in rear legroom must be done. More over if left side visibility is improved it will be more easy to drive.
