Exterior Its individual's choice.  Nonetheless, my wrords would be - Its good looking front and odd looking rear.  Side view is excellent!

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Quality of interior is good considering other Maruti Suzuki products.  This car is surely feature rich, if you going for Alpha and Zeta models.  My suggestion to all, the touchscreen infotainment system is just a gimmick, actually it is difficult to use while we drive the car.  Bad news is, if go for Zeta model, they we do get conventional music system with buttons (which is better to use  practially) but we lose out on some feature like Air conditionar switchs, which are poor looking other than Alpha model.

Seats are comfortable. However the rear seat angle is upright so on longer journies it would not be comfortable. Otherwise the space is good in the car for 4 people.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine performance is mediocre. Fuel economy is very good.  As per company claimed, I got up to 27 kmpl with AC on highway drives.  In city I got around 20 is heavy traffic and around 23 in medium traffic.

This is my first diesel car (but the third so far).  I am not familiar with diesel noise.  And I am sad to say, this engine is very noisy as per my choise.  I am suffering from headache since I bought this car.  I am very much upset with my choise of diesel top manual model.  Instead I think, Zeta petrol is the best Ignis out of its whole range.  Friends, please take my word, consdiering the mileage offered by both diesel and petrol - I think the diesel is only benefecial if you plan to drive your car more than 70,000 km.  Else up to 70K, petrol and disel are same ownership cost.

Ride Quality & Handling Handling is not that good, since the front tyre and rear tyre are not in same line, the rear tyres are wider in distance than front - this is for stability but someone may face problem if not used to.  Suspensions are hard hence you sure to get bodyache if you drive alone and for more than 35 km a day.

Final Words Overall the car is technically good but looses out on practicality.  The top models are not value for money hence my recommendation would be Zeta Petrol model (automatic or manual - up to you).  I regret buying this car and I am planning to change it in next year.

Areas of improvement Suspension, engine noise, music system with buttons.  Other than alpha model should get nice AC control and not the poor one like present.
