Want to buy a car on low price..? Go for All new ESTILO. Wow!! I did a test ride and booked the same. You people can have a great ride on it. Great pick up, stunning looks! And the most advantage is the gear. You need not have to struggle with the gear. While during the transmission of the gear, the gear clicks into its position by itself. A new technology for the gearing system.(DPT-Detent Pin Technology). You just have a touch on it. Its enough. It will get you to the gear you are desired to put. And another advantage is the tubeless tyres. Even if a pin or something punchers your vehicle tyres, it looks lik puncher only when it is at rest and you can ride it at a range of 60 to 80 Kmph without any fear. It automatically pumps when it is on ride. So you don't have the work of doing circus with stephenie. You can bring your vehicle to the shop and later you can change the tyre and can get ready with the punchered tyre. And coming to the interior part, it is so good to look at. Keeps you cool, comfort and happy. But the back seaters seat is some what congested for 3 members. But so comfortable for 2. In the co-drivers seat there is so spacious to spread you legs. No knee pain. Exterior is amazing as you can see. And the vehicle never shakes if you are speeding across a bus or a lorry. It the main thing you have to observe while buying a vehicle. So no tension for that in estilo. There is more space for the luggage at the back.. What else you desire from this small car? Great car. Thinking of buying this? Then don't think much. You will be satisfied with your amount you are paying. Its so worthy. Have a great buy. Good luck... ;-)

bought one on d eve of diwali. happy about it. style, mileage, pickup, gear shift, driving position, easy ingres eagress, fully loaded except music system. if only body metal was bit thicker though it wud have compromised FE. A pillar blocks side view but is said dat dese days almost every car has dis problem. it is a mini SUV. drvng postn is commanding, on d road u  get royal feeling. u r about 4 to 5 feet away from the bonnet as such appears to be quite safe on fron impact. however, metal on doors not very strong even alto appears to be stronger. faced it. however d best hatch from maruti at its price.only rightly priced car 4rm maruti, every thig gud about dis car, style,average, pick up,drvng postnbody metal could b thicker, A pillar blocks view, gear cud b shorter, nthng else at all.

Exterior Beauty,Innova like looks,smooth curves.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Not much,bad seats except for the seat height which is best in the segment,OVRM is the most useful thing,Gear shift is easy,sitting needs to be of i10 standard.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Good,smooth handling and fuel economy is expected to be around 18kmpl as i ve driven the car for few 100 kms only.

Ride Quality & Handling Very smooth,But engine gives a humming sound in 4th and 5th gear which is inherent as i learnt from other estilo users.

Final Words Good value for money,Easy available service,cheap parts,POOR AC with a vibration sound inherent.

Areas of improvement Tilt steering,integrated music system is a must,seats need to be of i10 standard, better facilities needed in Jharsuguda, the new industrial hub in orissa, Odessey motors sambalpur promised me 3000 as corporate discount, but only gave 2000 on day of delivery, they make you run fro every document, gave me the car but gave the TR copy after 2 days.

Exterior

Undoubtedly, the car comes with great exterior with broad smiling grille, wide head lamps, bright foglamps, body color bumper, which makes a cool combination of stylish looks.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

Interior is very comfortable, seating is quite spacious, tall-boy entry is just cool. High roof makes / feels it more roomier. Two tone dash and instrument panel is stunning.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

Engine is very responsive and have good, smooth pickup though a bit noisy. I have purchased mine Z E on 1st March 2010 and it is giving me same milage as Alto's. But the gear shift, speciallly the reverse gear is just horrible. It seems Marutis has picked this rubbish gearbox from some junkyard !

Ride Quality & Handling

 It is really a fun riding Estilo. I have squeezed at 140 kph on a fine day on highway just for fun and that is its limit also. But speeds kill silently / soundly 😄 so the most comfotable speed for Estilo is 90-110 kph. Power Steering is very helpful @ low speeds and crowdy streets. But the most painful thing is its A-Pillar which is a curse for this otherwise wonderful car. I owned Maruti Alto Lx previously and even it comes without p/s it is just a breeze when driving. I miss Alto whenever I have to steer at tight corners. I have to keep my head / eyes skipping this way or that to have an idea what might be there on turns ! It is awfully dangerous. many times i have planned to sue Maruti Suzuki in court for making such a rubbish A-Pillar !

Final Words

My Zen Estilo Vxi has 4000 done till date. It is highways car, not fit for street driving or specially for hilly terrains. Seating, Engine, fuel efficiency, space, looks-wise it is an excellent car. However, needs improvements.

this car is a great gift from maruti with great interiors. its mileage in city is 12.21kmpl and on highways it is 14.71kmpl.it has got a good trusted engine.The specs for the engine are as follows:

MPFI F10D Petrol

it also has a very powerful ac.Maruti has increased the interior space by extending the dashboard area of the car over the engine thus leaving little space in the engine compartment but certainly no complaints from me as you spend most of the time inside!

Its a dream come true machine. I call it a wonder machine.

for music system i would reccommend sony xplod with speakers of pioneer

The new ESTILO gets some cosmetic changes like new headlamps,new instrumental cluster,Dual tone dashboard.It now gets a more grown up look.Inside the hood it has the new KB10 A-STAR engine which is peppy and free revving.But at the end of the day its still the Boring ESTILO.New engine,Minor styling changesStill has a useless gearbox.Cannot match up to the old ZEN.

I am looking for a family car for 4-5 people in the range of 3-4 lac. I have taken test drives of multiple options from Indica Vista to A star.

I feel Zen estilo is the car which gives me real value for money. Vista also is major competitor but resale value of Tata vehicles is always a problem. Maruti is also preferred for the service support base they have.

Zen estillo is of same height as Wagon R, leg room for front is very good. For wagon R with 4 people load gives starting problem when AC is on. Interiors of Zen are much better than Wagon R but probably not as good as A star. mileage A star is the best. A star is much smoother than Wagon R & Zen estilo. A star is very cramped vehicle, it's only for 2 people & 2 kids.

 I am almost convinced that Zen estilo is better option than Wagon R.

Any suggestions are welcome..

 

Style, Economy, VFMgear shift, less space in rear

 I bought New Estilo Lxi in January 2011. I am a big fan of Maruti cars. Earlier I was using Old Zen. That car was so powerful hence I opted for Estilo. After driving it for 8 months, I am very much satisfied by its performance. It is truely value for money family car. Be it in the city or contryside my Estilo is just perfect. It is more spacious, good height, Looks like junior Innova. Powerful Ac, smooth gear shifting. It gives me 18 Km/lit average. Stunning looks. Very nice beige interiors. You have to press the clutch fully while shifting the gear otherwise Engine sounds Grrrrr... second thing is A piller affects visibility but as you drive the car you get to used it and there will be no problem. Though it is powerful car its pick up decreases considerably on the slopes when AC is on and you have to shift the gears frequently. Maruti should improve the quality of plastics in the interior to sustain in the competition. Barring all these little things the car is fantastic. Afeterall, you can't expect all the luxurios features of a Merc in a car pricing under 4 lacs.Overall Good value for money family car.

Why not spend a few more bucks and get WagonR Duo? get the same engine with great fuel economy. the look is quite attractive but it really lacks the fuel economy which a person looks for in a small car.Looks, style and InteriorsFuel economy, slightly overpriced
