The new-generation Hyundai Grand i10 will be introduced as a part of the company plans to reduce product lifecycle to five-six years with a facelift set to be introduced every second year. The new model will be make a comeback with a fresh set of cosmetic and feature upgrades.
The new Hyundai Grand i10 is based on an all-new platform which is expected to be lighter, flexible, safer and wider than its predecessor. The vehicle is also expected to get a new front fascia with a redesigned headlamp and tweaked front grille. It will further get redesigned bumpers and a fresh set of rear tail lamp. The sides are expected to resemble the current generation model apart from a fresh set of alloy wheels. However, the vehicle will not lose its young and tall-body styling element.
As for the interior, the new Grand i10 will get a new dual-tone upholstery for freshness and a touchscreen infotainment system. The vehicle will be offered with standard safety features such as dual front airbags and ABS.
Under the hood, the all-new Hyundai Grand i10 will be powered by the existing petrol and diesel engine options. The petrol version will continue with the 1.2-litre Kappa engine that develops 81bhp of power and 114Nm, while the diesel version will get the current 1.2-litre three-cylinder engine that generates 74bhp of power and 190Nm of torque. Both the variants get the five-speed manual gearbox as standard while the petrol gets the four-speed automatic option.
