Exterior Awesome looks, daylight running lamps along with projector headlamps gives it a premium feel. Very good ground clearance

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Front seats are very spacious with middle arm rest is a boon for the driver. The driver seat is height adjustable. Plenty of cubby holes which is a great boon and a specs/glares holder..wow! The dashboard lighting is also nice and classy unlike the dull orange ones we see in other cars.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Getting a very good average now after my 1st servicing, getting close to 19 in city and 22 on highway. Gear box is well placed and the reverse gear is button pull up method since this car comes with 6 manual gears.

Ride Quality & Handling Ride Quality is good, the steering is a little too sensitive but good in city drive..the noise insulation done is very good and you wont get any engine (diesel engines are very noisy) inside.

Final Words Very good car, awesome ground clearance and loaded with features...go for it

Exterior Superb Exterior Design With Excellent Built Quality. You Will Surely Love This,And Everyone Looking At My Car While Riding. There IS Cornering Light (Light Will Project To The Side U Steer) Which Is A Nice Feature. Also Projecting Headlamps Will Gives Premium Look From Outside.Rear View Camera & Sensors Are Awesome.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interior Quality Is Top Notch.In The Latest Model,There Is Touch Screen Interface ( earlier active lack this ). I Can easily control it straight from steering column,there are many glove boxes and plastic quality is good. I bought a full option vehicle with front dual air bags. Clutch rest is nice option. Engine sound will not enter the cabin, I wonder the ON or OFF !!excellent! and it comes up with keyless entry which is a nice experience. Whwn I ride 100 km/hr the vehicle is stable and handling is stable. Comfort level is excellent.

When I ride 100 km/hr the vehicle is stable and handling is stable. Comfort level is excellent. When I ride with full time ac on,i got 13 km/l. So I am sure that I will get more when I ride with ac off but without all windows you will not full enjoyment from i20 active. I have got problem in reverse gear, its not smoot but not everytime, rear view camera and sensors are good.

Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is good,comfort level on long ride is appreciable, I have gone 400km in it and its ride quality and handling is nice.

Final Words Hyundai means value for money and if it say "full option" it will comes with full option unlike maruthi where in full options cars we need to pay additional money for fitting many devices, well done hyundai.

Areas of improvement Rear seats are low placed,it should be elevated so the passengers will more comfort. Reverse gear smoothness should be improved.

Superb Exterior With Excellent Built Quality And Design.Interior Features Top Notch.There Is A Stuck In When Gear Shifted To Reverse,But Not Everytime.

 Poor rubber fitting came out after 7 months, not expected from a Hyundai as many say Hundai has it 'The Best'. Motor-Cycle like fuel lid makes it awkward and Out-Of-Place. Only one Reverse Indicator (Cost-Cutting). SHAME ON YOU Hyundai!😱 And still is called the Best Quality car manufacturer!

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

 Good to see that this is an exceptional car to feature a low height Floor-Hump unlike the VW cars and welcomely accepts the 5th occupant but the truely intrusive Air-Vents spoil the show. Leg-room is a lot, a 6-Footer can easily sit behind another 6-footer. 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

 A dumb CRDi engine, it makes it down to the Service Centre a lot, took me to the Service Centre 7 times in 1 Year due to breakdown!! But should be appreciated that it is easy to repair. Maybe that's why Mechanics too get a lot of income and are more interested in job!!! Engine is also VERY WEAK, even the cheap KUV 100 has a 80 BHP diesel engine. Fuel Economy is greatly claimed but gives about 11.5 kpl on road. Gearbox is easy to shift but feels quite rubbery while shifting from 3+gear to 1st or 2nd and is a curse to change. 

Ride Quality & Handling

 NVH levels are Best-in-Class and there is almost NO engine sound in the cabin. Suspensions are quite managing for ditches and bumps but maybe are poorly fitted. I felt so because it has a LOT of Body-Roll, more than the 2005 Scorpio!!😱

Final Words

 Good car but needs a LOT of improvement and is not worth buying with much affordable and better quality cars like the KUV 100, upcoming Tata Hexa, Current Tata Aria and other crossovers nearby

Areas of improvement  

 Almost INFINITE!! The list is,

Decrese body roll, Get rid of that **** CRDi Engine type and a more powerful engine please!!We want better quality of fitting of Rubber-Beading, remove that awkward looking Fuel Lid, try to improve on road mileage (10 kpl less than claimed mileage!!), I BEG YOU TO LEAVE COST-CUTTING!!

Mileage (Claimed), Enough for 5 occupants, Good bootA lot of Cost-Cutting is evident, Mileage (On road), Very weak engine

 

Exterior: Best in class, I feel proud running this car, every one looking at my Car, finishing is awesome

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort): There are many small enhancements which is only available with Hyundai, the one I like most are  cornering lights(this is a class feature), clutch les rest, cooler box)

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox: There is no noise at all from Engine, some time you will never know whether the engine is on or off, economy is good when compared to same segment cars, I am getting an average of 16/

Final Words: This is a dream car, you can buy other same segment cars but no one gonna look your car because they are common on road, but this is a class aprt, all will look at you car for some time, may be in future other companies will introduce new model to compete with this but for the moment this is the car,

Exterior, Small but excellent add-ons, engine tuning done,nil

This is the best car in india. Riding in the car been pleasant and very good comfort. It looks its an compact suv and it has best performance ever had in segments of other cars. Not having much problems and good maintenance. The best ever hatchback segment car. The interior of the car is pleasant and good looking.

Exterior Lookwise very well done by Hyndai Body Design Center at Germany, It is really looking very sharp, rear view is comparable with European SUVs like Audi and BMW.

Front Grill projection is little pushed inwards at certain degree, it should have been done at 90 degree

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interior is one of the best, Touch Screen Navigation System is very good, missing features are Voice Recognisation and Smart Phone Linking ( Google Android and Carplay).

Rear View Camera with Dynamic grid line is very useful for parking vehicle in given space

DVD Player is an missing Component , atleast they should have offered External DVD player Connection option

Cluster is very good , having good features

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Feeling like an 2 L Engine Vehicle where as i have 1.4 CRDI, Very good Engine.

Ride Quality & Handling I feel suspension is not good, for the 11 Lakhs i paid, it should be improved, I am expecting a fine tuning from dealer.

Exterior The hyundai i20 active is having the best ever exteroir.It looks like mini creta or mini duster.The best ever exterior exterior is only in this car. The styling is best in its segment. The alloy wheels assist it in making it more stunning and mind blowing.Projector lights attracts everyone.Skid plates are the strongest one ever.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Very comfortable than swift or Punto. It has more convenience than other competitor cars.More space than swift.Rear Ac vents is first in segment.Rear sensors is more effective in this car than other cars.Navigation System is the best to go anywhere.Steering mounted controls are more better in this car than other cars.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Agile performance. Fantastic Pickup 0-100 in 10.56secs. Brilliant Mileage of city 18 km/l and 19.88km/l on highways. More than suficient torque of 22.4kg/m or 220Nm@2000rpm.High power of 88Bhp@4000rpm.Very best performance for this car as it is having lesser weight than big Suvs.

Ride Quality & Handling Very comfortable suspension. It is having more ground clearance than swift or elite i20 of 19cms. To face every bad roads. More comfortable even on bad roads.

Final Words At the end, I can say that it is the best car ever made.

Exterior Car is a transformed hatchback, more likely adding a leather jacket to a body(elite i20). Ground cleareance is 190 mm which is pretty high making it beneficial for city rides. Mileage is also satisfying enough. Looks like a small suv but doesnt go under this category. It is more of a sports car.

 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interior is amazing. It comes loaded with features even in the base model. Hyundai is know for its quality of products. I have just ordered this car and i am more then happy for the interior. A small ac compartment box is also given where edible food or drinks can be stored to keep it cool. Parking assist, central locking , reverse parking , reverse camera , danger sense(rolls down the window if it finds some obstacles) , sunglass compartment, music system , bluetooth are some of the features in this car.

 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox I live in Mumbai and i daily travel from Thane to lower parel which is around 30 kms. I use this car everyday and travel hassel free. the engiene runs smothly. Steering is also amazing altough i believe steering comfort could be better but still no issues. Car runs smoothly without making any noise. Fuel economy as i said before is satisfying. Gear shifts too has no issues as it changes very smoothly. Company claims 21.2 kmpl but in city it goes for 15kmpl

 

Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is Great and handling this car is also amzing. ALTOUGH the steering could be liitle smoother but then no major issues there.

 

Final Words This is a great sporty car and it looks beautiful when it runs on road. I am more of a hatchback kind of a person. But you can go for Hyundai verna mid version if you wish for sedan cars.

 

Areas of improvement  

 Price could be a liitle low. But the features and excellent interriors makes up for that.

Cons: 1.The top-of-the-line variant will cost a hole in the pocket with over Rs. 10 lakh on-road for the beefed-up hatchback OVERALL EXPERIENCE :4/5.
